Anyone here think Thomas will opt for the draft? Some writers around the country think he's a late first round pick.

I spoke with a writer that covers Oklahoma State this weekend, and he said that his organization and web site have Grant Gregory projected as an NFL prospect.  He said he may not get drafted but will definitely get a look as a free agent signee.  He even thought that Gregory backed up Josh Freeman last year, and I had to correct him on that.  Dude was a professional sports writer.

He's a perfect  NFL RB so wouldnt be surprised if he went and was a top 2 round pick. He's supposedly said he wasn't leaving on his facebook but when the money talks, people will walk.

indicated that daniel thomas has never lifted weights, so I am excited to see what the S&C program will do with him in the offseason. DT's parents are ministers and they have indicated he is 100% coming back to KSU, as has DT himself.  I HIGHLY suspect he will come back.

He is not going anywhere.  His parents and him all said he is coming back and that it is not even a consideration.  Dad is a preacher and said he knows his son will play in the NFL, but needs another year in college.

DThomas wants to finish his liberal arts degree so I think he'll be back.

Also, he hates ku and wants to make sure we win in Lawrence next year.

Gregory is not even on the radar of playing in the NFL.  He didn't even have the required arm strength to play in the Big 12 and run the offense we wanted to run.  The NFL isn't even a consideration for him and he knows that.  He's coming back to KSU in some type of GA roll next season and he's going to finish his masters degree.

This thread is NU basically admitting they feel fortunate that they beat Kstate with DThomas only getting 100 yards on the best D they've had in 10 years.

    The "other" KSU
DT next yr is basically the most awesome thing that has happened to this program in the last 5-6 yrs. He is a legit bad-ass D1A RB and that is a great feeling.
