You wouldn't know it from my lack of quality or quantity anymore, but I go back to 1996, before kstatefans.  I started on the national CNNSI boards, where I used to get in fights with Ohio State fans about who had the better program going.  A lot of posters from lots of schools on the national board then went to kstatefans when it opened.  I lost my BBS fire eventually, and I basically quit posting for several years after that.  Anyone remember the K-State recruit hoax on CNNSI, in 1997 I think?  There was a fake recruit with a Samoan name.  That was some quality BBSing back in the days before recruit databases.

I haunted the cbs sportsline forums in the 90's as "big xii".  Several of the regulars formed the Insane Clown-Slapping Posse to handle trolls and Notre Dame fans.  Sadly, they changed their format and I went

Since we are all confessing here, I will tell you my journey as best I remember it.

I think it all started on a board called Go Big 12 or Austin 360 or something like that.

mjrod and Super PurpleCat were on that board and maybe they can remember more.  That board went away and the War Room/War Zone came into play with many of the same cast of characters.  Some of these were shmendric, flarple, Darth Kramer, Snyderisgod, Red Dane, OSTATE, DonHo, drumguish, JMITCH, ExUTex and Gatos.

At some point, mjrod started a board called Classless Cats and while I more or less lurked before, I started to post on this board a bunch. 

In January 2006, I migrated to these boards when Classless Cats transititioned into these boards with the KSU Sports Board MJ had going.

I've mostly lurked on the 'other' KSU boards, but these boards seem right for me.

in my sig.  Sean said it was because it was a family site and recruits and players read the board.  What got me banned though was when I cleared my sig and just put SeanK hates cats.  He didn't appreciate that much.

I kinda then set up camp here after like the 8th time TomLight banned me. Rivals board is useless if you don't have premium and the kusports message boards is basically the tigerboard equivalent of jayhawk fans...full of complete tards.

This seems like a nice place, just needs some new upholstery and all. and a grooler

My BB'ing experience goes back a long ways but the highlight for KSU boarding was when I was f*cking with Moosehawk shortly after Scout usurped the Kstatefans name and I asked him to "Show us on the teddy bear where Tom Light touched you" - complete with pick of teddy bear. Kougar and I exchanged pleasantries via PM before I got bounced. Still laugh about that one.


Don't know how anybody can even post on those Rivals sites when every third post is some putz asking "What channel"? or some equally obtuse observation.

Holy crap, I forgot all about the original classless cats site. I think I still have it on an old laptop. I even clued my aged mother on to it. Prolly not the brightest of ideas. I think I still have one bumper sticker left, somewhere. My kids will prolly find it when they clean out the house after I'm gone.

I remember that sig, too. When I first discovered the entire concept of message boards (around December 2005), pissclams was on the BB board posting tea party pics of Benneck and Sasha.
