This site is KSUFans.com, or as close to the original version as you will find.  Slowly after joining the scout network the other site lost its luster, and as KSTATE14 said over there, most of the good posters over there pretty much transfered over here. 

We don't have the premium features that a GPC does(though TP has improved on that), but the quality of the board conversations is pretty awesome especially for a free board.

I remember I started an epic thread over there one time about "Frank's honeymoon being over" after we started out so crapty last year in bball(after the Baylor game IIRC).  One of my greatest triumphs, Frank must have read my post as we ripped off like 7 in a row right after.

I didn't start bbs'ing until 2000 or so.  Was on GPC back then...kstatefans was a ghost town.  Back then GPC would have something called the "Wabash Cannonball" and it was the most timely, pertinent information about KSU sports out there.

You wouldn't know it from my lack of quality or quantity anymore, but I go back to 1996, before kstatefans.  I started on the national CNNSI boards, where I used to get in fights with Ohio State fans about who had the better program going.  A lot of posters from lots of schools on the national board then went to kstatefans when it opened.  I lost my BBS fire eventually, and I basically quit posting for several years after that.  Anyone remember the K-State recruit hoax on CNNSI, in 1997 I think?  There was a fake recruit with a Samoan name.  That was some quality BBSing back in the days before recruit databases.
