In all seriousness, and no disrespect, do any of you guys feel like K-State is in a catch 22?  That being that it will be tough for Snyder to recruit, because in all likelihood he will not be around through the career of the players that he is recruiting, but if you get someone else he probably won't be as good a coach?  So you will be well coach but most likely out classed for the next few years?

Contrary to popular opinion, Snyder is not very good at recruiting.

It'll be just as much of a catch-22 as the idea that Mangino won't get any recruits because he'll probably die soon because of his weight. Which means that no, there's not a catch-22.

how is that a catch 22? pretty sure that's hyperbole.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I guess as far as the North goes the disruptions at CU and ku will allow you to still out recruit them the next couple of years, and KSU should still be easier to recruit to than ISU regardless of the coaching situation, so you just have to deal with NU and Mizzou.

i think you mean nu's in a catch 22.  you've got a retard for a coach but since the north is so bad he's going to the big 12 chamionship game so you can't just get rid of him now.  ksu is just f'd in the a.

The catch 22 is that if you have a great coach, you'll likely be thin on talent.  If you make a change for someone that can get talent you won't have your great coach that everyone loves and has done so much for KState.

Say what you want, don't give him respect, that's fine, but he took a defense from 130th nationally to 3rd in two years with basically the same players.  You can call him a retard or a bad coach, but look at his resume. Oklahoma, LSU, bringing Nebraska to 9 wins a year after a 5 win season.

When Mangino is gone, Bo will be the most embarrassing looking coach in the conference.  It takes a lot more than 9 win seasons to overcome that.

Gets players.  They don't care if he retires.
