    Overkill. It works.
Would somebody explain to me why "More Criminals, More Wins" is a good way to represent KSU hoops?  I'm not totally bashing on it, but I can't believe that's the best image to put out to the world.  Besides, how much of a criminal record do we have on board or committed?

Last I knew, Lance Harris had a speeding ticket on his record.  Cartier?  Hoskins?  For that matter, what about Walker or commits like Beasley?  If we signed Tyree Evans, I MIGHT see some merit to it.

Hell, I don't know.  Am I clueless?  If so, I know I'm going to hear about it.  Fire away...

    The very best.
It's pretty dumb.

Saul came up with it.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

simply put: Criminals just play better ball. Look how successful Huggins was at Cinci with all of those criminals. The more felonies you have, the better you are at basketball. I think it's a scientific law proved by either Newton or Galileo though, I'm not positive though. Clams might be able to help you out..

PurplePowerHouse -

MCMW is a good way to brush off ku fans who bag on Huggins for recruiting "thugs".  If a ku (or any other) fan starts ripping on Huggy for that sort of thing, just respond "MCMW", and it's all good.

Just to play devil's advocate, doesn't that just give them more fodder?  Not that I really give a damn what they think of us.

Who knows, who cares. It's easier to do that than to try and argue with them.

The point is that we will be accused of recruiting criminals, so we might as well embrace the image and enjoy the inside joke amongst us...

Gotcha.  Thanks for the info; I hate feeling ignorant, especially when it comes to defending my boys!

Do you have a sense of humor and if so, do you prefer not to use it?
Snart & Saul pretty much nailed it.  Let's beat them to the punch, embrace the fact that we "sold our souls" even tho it's really them on probation and them stabbing people, and them who choose to ignore their kids.  It takes from our detractors the only thing they want to talk about "Bob Thuggins", and therefore promotes more reasonable discussions such as the evolution of the KATPAK distribution channels throughout the Pacific Rim and former Soviet block countries.  However, the biggest reason I made it up was to gain the huge amount of street cred that goes along with adding to the KSUFans.com lexicon.  I also knew that fatty would use it in what's becoming the hotest video on Youtube.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Clams-
"Do you have a sense of humor and if so, do you prefer not to use it?"  I'm happy to say that yeah, I've got a pretty well-developed sense of humor.  I guess I just never got in on how the whole MCMW thing started.  More than anything I was just trying to understand the context.  Now that I "get it" I'm liking it!  Somebody said if someone punches a horse we go to the Final Four.  THAT'S when it finally "clicked" in my mind.

Stunner-
What's up with the hostility man?  I don't recall calling YOU out.  If you can't handle an honest question, YOU'RE the one with the problem, not me.  Besides, the reason I came over here was that I was finding the other site boring.  And over here, nobody's telling me I have to pay for premium blah blah blah...

Well, we're all here because we have been banned on the other site...

And that quip about punching a horse and going to the final four was indeed classic!

I didn't get banned over at Scout--just got tired of it.  Not sure how to explain it, other than it was just boring my ass off.  Plus, I get sick of elitist jerks who somehow think they're better fans than everybody else because they've got a premium subscription.  Sorry, but I f'n HATE that attitude.  I'm also getting the idea that there's just a smidge more "free expression" over here, and I'm liking that a LOT.

 :woohoo:

I prefer PPH, but if P-P "does it for you," who am I to complain?

Even if my username initials are akin to piss, at least I'm not the one in danger of having unnatural sex with farm animals!

Just for the sake of being morbid, how cool would it be to have purple P-P?  I'd go out & draw powercats in the snow--if we had snow.
