After two seasons, he's nothing more than an "Others receiving votes" type of coach.  At the same time, NU fans are incredibly complacent these days.  The people who couldn't get rid of Solich fast enough now don't seem to be all that unhappy to have a mediocre team.  Their fans were much more entertaining when they weren't able to find success in mediocrity.  I miss those days.

It won't be long.  They are worse than they were with Callahan who had worse teams than Solich.  Maybe hire Solich back?

He's winning way more games than Clownahan did with the same players, and hasn't lost to the Kansas State Academy for the Personality Impaired so he'll be around for a while.  my guess is he'll be around longer than the purple crypt keeper. :cyclist:

Are you serious?  Pelini has NU winning and in the CCG.  They will hire a big time oc in the offseason and coupled with Pelini's defensive coaching will be a force for years to come.  If you can't see that I think it is time to up the prescription.

At NU, competing for national titles every year used to be the standard.  Things like being better than Bill Callahan and winning the Big 12 North in 2009 mean nothing in comparison.  Nothing.

This thread isn't about KSU.  We know that we suck.  The thread is about NU fans not knowing that they suck, too.

    Hey, basketball!!!
To be honest, he should've been fired after they lost to ISU in Lincoln.

are you suggesting that the 8 turnovers (including 4 at the goal line) were somehow bo's fault?

FAIL

Two years removed from 5-7, completely embarrasing on defesne to now.  That's all the purple peoples' problems, you all know you suck, so you have to try to convince yourselves that everyone else sucks too because of your insecurity of having to wear purple.

one last thing.     **17-3,  North Champs**   see ya next year in the "Rotten Apple"

Oh i'm sorry, did you think last night's game was close?   17-3 to you is close, to use it's a blowout,  Just think about this, If our offense was not so inept, hell 30 points a game is good for blowout wins week after week except one.

Callahan won a North division title as well don't forget that.   His North championship team was actually semi legit easily better then this NU team which is really just the best team in a bad division.

Be interesting to see what Bo can do with his own recruits.  Cally recruited well and Bo benefitted with the talent he was left especially on defense.  Cally had an idiot for a d-cordinator but the players were good.  We just didn't quite have the horses to beat NU last night but honestly would expect to beat NU in Manhattan next season.   If you turn the tables and Josh Freeman stays for his senior season and Suh goes to the draft we would have beat NU and won the North.

A goal line fumble and a couple missed field goals disagrees with your cornholed logic.

Bo isn't going anywhere any time soon.  Take a step back and try and understand the big picture.  Callahan wasn't fired because of his W and L's.  It was a contributing factor, but not the only one.  He alienated donors, former players, high school coaches, and many, many fans.  He certainly got the big star recruits but did it by telling them they'd be starting regardless of talent...which didn't always pan out.  This caused more talented players to be sat when they should be playing, causing internal rifts within the team.  He was either incapable or unwilling to change out personnel on his staff (mainly Cosgrove) when the D continued to decline.  Despite bringing in top tier recruits they could not coach them up to standards and players consistently gave up during games, played soft, and lacked fundamentals.  He sold Nebraska as a stepping stone to the NFL and downplayed the traditions, which led to the horde of prima donna players that cared more about themselves and their future careers than the team and their teammates.  They also all but did away with the walkon program.

All of this led to serious damage to the program on and off the field.  When Bo got here he had to repair all of that.  Fixing the mentality and work ethics of the players is not something that can be done overnight, and certainly not within a year.  Some players will never buy into it (ala the Offensive Line) and will just have to be washed out of the system.  Others, like Suh, Crick, Asante, O'Hanlon, Dennard, Thenarse, etc. who have bought into Pelini's plan have shown the obvious improvement.  A Defense that was one of the worst in the nation now a top 10 defense.  The players are playing harder and play till the final whistle.  Former players are back on the sidelines and love everything that's going on and the direction the program is heading.

Nobody in the Husker Nation is cheering a 8-3 season.  They're cheering the progress that has been made, the repairs that have been completed.  As long as Bo continues to progress until we get back to their former glory, he'll be here.  Prince screwed you guys over, but believe it or not you were in far better shape than we were after Callafraud.  That's why Pelini will be here for awhile yet, and that's why Husker fans are happy with him.  Anyone who understands football can see that.  It's more than just wins and losses.
I don't understand why K-State fans are "the worst fans in the BigXII."  *surfs KSUFans.com*  Ohhhh....  *facepalm*

Cuz Snyder is SO much better, he built a respectable program by 03, then in just 2 years, ran it into the toilet,  got outta town before he was run out,  let some retard Price guy come (which admit, you all purples thought he was god at one time or another) took the program into even lower depths, now Snyder can come back, win 5 or 6 games a year, and still feel like a savior.  MAN I WISH I WAS A "PURPLE PETER EATER"

That's laughable.  Freeman never beat Nebraska, even when Cosgrove was our defensive coordinator.  What a joke.

This thread has fail all over it.  Seems that you can't stand the fact that your Wild Kitties looked pathetic on offense last night, and got beat, AGAIN, by Nebraska.  You guys should be used to this by now.

So, Bo will be able to get a pass from NU fans indefinitely even if he wins no more than nine games per year?  That's what I'm hearing.

I keep hearing that Bo is building a MONSTER up there in Lincoln.  Since offspring end up taking on the traits of their creators, I assume that Bo's monster will look something like this:

when they get stomped by UT in a few weeks they'll be calling for his head.

Still think they could lose in Boulder since they've already won their superbowl.

Ya know, I think it's funny how all you K-Staters make fun of Bo by calling him a retard and that he has a mild case of downs syndrome.
Bill Snyder was kicked out of Missouri because of academics and Bo has his Masters degree. Seems to me that you turds are barking up the wrong tree.

Stupid Huskers  :steadymobbin':

Snyder, 69, received his B.A. from William Jewell in 1963. He earned his M.A. from Eastern New Mexico in 1965. As a player, he was a three-year letterwinner as a defensive back at William Jewell. Snyder and his wife, Sharon, have two sons (Sean and Ross) and three daughters (Shannon, Meredith and Whitney). They also have eight grandchildren, Sydney, Katherine, Tate, Matthew, Alexis, Gavin, Kadin and Tylin.
