We came into the season knowing it would be rough. Give Snyder a year to get his own recruits in here and we will be fine. The fact that we were able to achieve this much in a season that we had nothing to hope for is amazing. The Big 12 North will be awful next season seeing that ku will lose everyone, Colorado sucks, Mizzou will be challenged since we will be able to finally recruit. Next season is a long ways away but we have the athletes and the ability to recruit to make next season a fun one to watch. And the fact that we won't have 2 fcs teams will make it easy to make a bowl game atleast! At this time we should be proud of the position we were in and look towards next season as the season to take the north!

    The very best.
just can't believe it's over.

i mean, what do we do now?

go camping?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    Anti-government
Watch fun stuff, like DoD DVD, first 11 games of '98, etc. etc.

Do this a lot.

Yeah, It's a shame that this season ended this way for the seniors.  I have a awful lot of respect for guys like Keithen Valentine and Grant Gregory who laid it on the line on the line every day, only to come up short.  It has to hurt a lot.

We won the same number of games vs FBS opponents as we did last year.

We didn't make a bowl game, for the 3rd straight season.  Although Grimace made a bowl in his 1st season after 2 straight non-bowl seasons under Snyder.

With a Missery win over :ku:, we finish in 3rd place.

Too many of you are propping this season due to a win over :ku:, which I am happy as heck with, but in reality - we didn't accomplish as much as some believe.

Last year's QB is starting in the NFL and this year's couldn't start for Washburn.

Last year's defense set records for yards and defense allowed.

Last year's offensive line couldn't open any holes, and this year's did an excellent job.

Vast improvement all over the field, despite having horrible talent at QB this year.  This year's team accomplished a TON relative to last year's team.

I'll give it up to Snyder, he did more with his team this year than most could have expected/predicted, especially considering how the season started for you guys.  Some tough breaks, but better than you were under Grimace.
