I get an error when I try to do this on my computer:

"Your computer must be connected to the internet to perform this operation. Please ensure that you are able to connect to the internet and try again."

I am connected to the internet (obviously).

I didn't have this problem when syncing the blackberry to my office laptop.

Searches for the problem on the internet have revealed no clear answers.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

I've found that this works pretty well.

Problem solved.... Now using google calendar and google sync to accomplish said task.
