I watched the 4th quarter with tears in my eyes.  Those kids played their hearts out tonight.  It reminds me of the teams of the early 90s.  Kids selling out for their team and coach.  This was a very positive step.  The bowl game would have been huge.

I am not normally one who criticizes the officials because I understand that players play the game, but that was the single worst example of home cooking that I have ever seen.  I have never seen Coach Snyder so animated about officiating.  He does not normally complain so vehemently.  The roughing the kicker call was a joke.  There was no way that official was going to give us a first down.  The horsecollar right in front of the field judge is inexcusable.

I got so sick of the announcers talking about Suh the entire second half.  We totally dominated the second half.  Suh is a great player, but he gets away with murder.  However, he has an unbelievable motor and his effort is inspiring.

The future looks very bright.  Coach Snyder in one year has coached the Ron Prince mentality right out of this team.  Daniel Thomas is amazing.  Weibert, Mayfield and Kendall played very well.  The hold on Kendall was a joke.  I was glad they finallly called the defensive hold on Crick.  He was doing that all game.

For all of you that doubted Coach Snyder, jump on the bandwagon.  It is only uphill from here.  Who would you rather have Bo Pelini or Bill Snyder?  The difference in class and football IQ between those two gentleman is immense.  Tough loss, but a very spirited effort.  I am very proud of the defense.  Jeffrey Fitzgerald is going to play on Sundays.

    The very best.

very much worth crying.

not because of they kids playing their heart out though. I don't agree with that.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

In all honesty, and putting bias aside as much as possible, I truly and honestly thought it was running into the kicker and a good acting job.  The Nebraska player brushed the kicker's foot.
The officiating was hit or miss all game.  There was a tremendous clip on ?Banks? return that didn't get called, and lots more holding than was called.  C'est la vie.

Snyder is an amazing coach and while I don't know how long he wants to stick with it, there's no doubt in my mind that he'll have KSU perenially in the top 2-3 of the B12 North along with (imo) Nebraska and a ku/MU rotation.

I am reminded of a game in Lincoln when I complained to an official about an obvious holding call and he looked at me and told me to shut my mouth and accept the beating.  He punctuated it by adding ," They are better than you, they do not need to hold." I got that same feeling watching tonight's crew.

I cried becusue I know how hard Coach Snyder has worked this year on changing the mentality of this team.  before tonight, I wondered how long he would stick around.  He had the same fire tonight.  He wanted to win badly.

KSUfans.com will become the #1 Kstate sports BBS!
I love K-state and will never turn my back on them but as a fan its ok to get pissed off about mistakes, I would hate to be the fan of a team that is not allowed to bitch about mistakes
"I don't know if I will be able to knock out as many teeth as big Lu, but I hope to pick up on the scoring and rebounding aspects." Wally Judge talking about being a biig of the future for KSU!
