    Fear the Brick
I put this loss entirely on his shoulders.  We actually had a good game plan and he managed to f*ck it up nearly every chance he got.  He made terrible f*cking decision all night long.  He could have ran for 100 first downs tonight, instead he managed to throw 30 yards over our smallest receiver's head or dance his happy ass in the pocket long enough to get sacked.  There's miles of free space ahead of him and instead he's chucking it down field like he's f*cking Payton Manning.  He was so f'ing terrible.  That was a completely winnable game.  Completely winnable.  That is such a sh*t NU team.

STFU thats the most we've let him throw all season and all of a sudden you guys expect him to be Peyton Manning? He made some bad throws yeah but some of his incompletions should of been cought too. this loss goes all around from the coachs to the players what bout throwing it 3 straight times on the 1 inch yard line? what kind of play calling was that? for you to put the blame on gregorys shoulders is ridiculous hes head and shoulders better then coffman and if it wasnt for gregory you could maybe mark down another loss (ISU). We lost as a team tonight so get off gregorys back he had more EMAW in him in one season then some of these players have in 4 years.

that's exactly my point, dipsh*t.  there were f*cking thousands of opportunities to run for a first down, he had miles of turf in front of him and instead he's chucking it down field to absolutely no one.  a running QB kills a pelini defense.  f*cking kills it.  I don't care if he's the "best we've got" it doesn't mean he's exempt from blame.  he made terrible f*cking decisions all night.

keithen fumbled, and our fg kicker missed two kicks.  We are within 1 score if just 2/3 of those things get converted.

Hes not the one who does the play calling if you upset about the lack of running be upset with the coachs.

agreed. gregory didn't play well, but those two misses were just inexcusable.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Yeah, you can't really survive two weeks in a row of fumbling at the goal line with talent as "the suck" as ours.

i won't deny those plays weren't huge.  but time after time grant managed to make poor decisions.  he had time too.  the OL did an admirable job.  grant just refused to take what was infront of him and left our team in long yardage situations all night.

I will only say this once, he does not turn the ball over.  That makes him better than a lot of crappy qb's.

Yah, GG averaged 4.1 yards per pass, completing 11 of 31 for 126 yards.

You know what is the real kick in the nuts..... if we had a starting qb talented enough to win the job at say San Diego State or maybe Wyoming,  we'd be bowling this year.

Without GG behind center, we'd probably be 2-6 instead of 4-4 in conference play.  But, by all means, pile on if it helps make you feel better.

I'm not a fan and I hate the game manager/warrior/"heart" b.s. too, but this could've been ugly if he had put the ball on the ground or in their hands.  Think about how Evridge or Coffman would've performed and compare him on that scale.  I mean the man made me $13 today, I can't be too mad.

i'm piling on him for a crappy game.  i didn't say I wanted Suh to run over him with his car.  him sucking less than carson doesn't excuse his play.

Grant is definitely not good.  He's probably not good enough to be starting at a D1 school.  But, he's as good as he can be.  He's not like a Carson Coffman who could be good but doesn't feel like it.  You know?

what the hell?

GG was better than the rest of the trash on our QB depth chart, but that doesn't make him some hero.

He had an opportunity to go out an absolute legend, all he had to do was make a few plays with his arm.  He was completely unable to.  Other people ruined it for us, but he didn't help.

3 points is an embarrassment considering all the work between the 20's we did.
