You can't be racist and like basketball.
I'm sure there are universities around the country that are willing to hire a 95 year old coach who acomplished SO much at the twilight of his career despite loading the schedules with the likes of Fla Int., Western Kentucky, UMass, McNeese State and playing in a watered down Big XII north......That sounds like the makings of a national championship!!!

Check PM's, RRB.

Go root for the Cowboys or Michigan or the Yankees, jerkoff. :bitchslap:

Im not discrediting what he did for the KSU program, but it is obvious that the "game has passed him by".......If he does, it has Bobby Bowden written all over it

I'll support Coach if he decides to do a Lombardi.  I hope he stays out of the Big 12 (sure that won't be a problem), it would be interesting to see how he'd do at Iowa or North Carolina.  NC might be a bit of a rebuilding job though, don't know if he wants that again.  I don't think he'd fit well at Miami.  I think he'll probably end up a MAC-type school or something in the end.

I'd still be a K-Stater first no doubt, but I'd have a bit of snart/jarr in me as well.

I would think smaller than that... I was thinking more along the lines of Emporia or washburn.... Or if WSU got a team again. Not really a job... just a time filler.

If he went to Pittsburgh or Central Missouri, he could still play in Arrowhead once a year.

If he does take a job at a BCS school he would quickly remember why he retired and prob go through 2 years or so before he retired again.

But I just have a feeling that people are making this into a bigger issue than it is.  I believe he's just bored and if he is considering returning it's just a stupid pipe dream that his family could talk him out of if they wanted.  I won't be surprised by whatever happens... I will however be surprised if he stays somewhere else longer than 5 years.

    Fear the Brick
If Bill goes to coach somewhere else and has success, while at the same time Prince does not that will essentially paint the picture to everyone that you can only win at KSU if your name is Bill Snyder.  Whether ot not that's fair or whether or not that's true won't matter, that will be the perception/reality.

On the other hand, if he goes somewhere and faceplants, it can only look god for KSU.

    The very best.
DISTRACTIONS. COMPARISIONS. IT WOULD BE HELL FOR PRINCE N CO.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Bishop said he plans to coach the Wildcats when he retires from the Arena league.

Did anyone tell Michael Jordan to retire?

I'm glad you brought up Jordan. He ruined his legacy when he went to the Wizards. I'm not saying all of the positive things he did with the Bulls didn't happen but I'd rather remember Jordan for that jumper against Utah then I would in a Wizards uniform.

I'd rather remember Coach Snyder for going off the field on the shoulders of his players then I would any other way.

Then remember him for that.  It's your choice to do that no matter what he does from now on.

Coach Snyder would be the first coach in the world to first revive a football program that was figuratively dead followed by one that was literally dead.

It would be interesting to see how he'd do at Iowa or North Carolina.

His name isn't on the North Carolina list according to Ivan Maisel. Here are the names he listed:

Butch Davis
Rich Rodriguez
Tom O'Brien
Norm Chow
Jimbo Fisher
Gene Chizik

I was thinking the same thing.  I also don't know why Tom O'Brien would leave for a worse program that's in his own freaking league.
