    Wait...what?
Border Patrol had him on for the Big 12 blitz this morning to give Nebraska take on the game.  Asked him about the development of the K-State/Nebraska rivalry.

He said something about all schools having their share of bad fans, "but I think the bad blood is there because K-State fans didn't know how to handle winning.  To win and then to keep the other team from being able to get back to their locker room, while you're taunting them, I think that's where it started."

Still a little bitter about being on the team that finally lost to K-State after 30 years, eh, Matt?  Rushing the field:  it's what happens when you get beat by a team that you've RUTS on for the last 3 decades.  It's understandable, though.  It was a new experience for Nebraska, but one that they've probably now gotten used to over the last decade:  at ku, at MU, etc., etc., etc.

Here's something to stick in your corncob pipe and smoke, Matt:  Nebraska fans are sh*tty losers.  Again, not something they had to deal with for quite a while, but now that it's become commonplace, we've seen that the "best fans in college football" turn pretty average once their team does.  Oh, sure, they still go to games, because what the hell else are they going to do on a Saturday in that craphole state, but they forget pretty quickly their so-called traditions.  For instance, they still owe K-State a standing ovation for the 2003 game.  And that Bo Pelini sure was classy in cussing out Snyder after the game.

So just remember, Matt:  the bad blood isn't there just because you got your panties twisted as you tried to run to the locker room in shame after the 1998 game.  It's there because Doctor Tom ran up the score for years with his merry band of druggies, girlfriend-beaters, and other assorted felons.  It's there because Nebraska fans, at the end of the day, are the same crappy fans that every other team has, who struggle when their team struggles.  And it's there because K-State, and then the rest of the college football world, passed Nebraska by, and now you, and every other Nebraska fan, is rightfully pissing your pants from fear that you'll never return to Doctor Tom's prison yard glory days.  Sure, K-State's fallen back and you've steadied the ship, but you still lay awake at night with the knowledge that you're no longer NEBRASKA, but now just part of the Big XII North, a mediocre collection of teams that exists to provide wins for the teams that are located where today's recruits want to play:  sunny Florida, warm Texas, and palm-tree-covered Southern California.

You sir, are exactly right.  Not hard to be a "classy" fan (the Nubbs like that term) when your team is winning 10-11 games every year.  The true test is what losing does to the fans and in that department Nubb gets a D- (out of generosity)  for simply continuing to fill that dump of a stadium with red clad, corn hat wearing retards.  Yes, I know they have nothing else to do...but still they show up to boo the latest recruiting busts and talk about how classy they are.

If the message boards are any measuring stick, Nubbs have some of the worst fans on the planet.  Particularly during recruiting season when they can try to feel relevant again.  Though fleeting, this feeling of relevance seems to embolden them to take over the Rivals National Board with pleas for more stars.  Of course they also like to run to other team's boards to flaunt the newest "sure thing" commit, dumb enough to doom themselves to not being nearly as good as their predecessors.

Their players can't even handle losing with class.

Favorite part is their coach explaining it away as the fault of a drunk fan....

You stay classy, Nebraska.

That's a felony assault right there.  If a K-State player did that, he'd be suspended or kicked off the team.  I love how Solich blames the fan for drinking too much.  Pathetic.

You are absolutely right.  My big disappointment of the season is that one of our players has not cold-cocked some clueless schmuck fan on the way to the dressing room.

That video is worth thousands of words to tell a story about Nebraska football, some words would have to be used multiple times:
"thug"
"felon"
"ignorant"
"stupid"
"slack-jawed"
And many, many more.

...and right on queue vanro proves my point.  Thanks buddy for showing how delusional you Husker fans are with your feeble attempt to strike fear in Cat fans with the Burkhead news!

For those who don't know he's a true freshman who averaged 23 yards a game rushing before being hurt against Mizzou.  His top performance was a whopping 39 yard output vs. Florida Atlantic.  The cornheads had been thinking it would be CU or a bowl before the great white hope returned.

On the flipside, I'm willing to admit he might have been some kind of secret weapon prior to the college game being integrated.  Yeah, I know he was a 4 star recruit and that's all that matters.  Hope his foot is fine.

being a ksu fan since only 1996, my husker hatred isn't at the levels of others.

1997 and 1999 were very depressing though. hell, even 2001.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

2003 was an absolute monster win.

There is simply no worse fans in sports than the traveling Cornholes.

Sadly for ku folks, they got to witness some of it last Saturday.

As the beatings picked up their pace, the condescending Standing-O's got less and less enthusiastic.

NU fans have hated us since the '98 game. They couldn't stand the fact that we finally beat them, and then started to beat them consistently for a few years in the 2000's. They then say that we think that we were some national powerhouse and are historically better than them, when in fact, none of us thought that. Here's a perfect example:

I agree Matt is a total Doucher.  I knew him in high school and I hate listening to him broadcast the games.  My girlfriend stole his hunting licenses when he was passed out at a party once :excited:  Don't assume that we are all like old MD.  I was in Manhattan for all those losses in 98, 2000, and 2002, and I had a hell of a time partying with my KState fans in Aggieville, just like they had a good time partying in Lincoln after losses in 99, 2001.  Don't get me wrong I think your school colors, mascot etc. are totally lame, and I totally hope the Huskers bitch slap you at the game on Saturday, but let's all remember the fact that none of us are actually on either of the teams.  If we win or lose this game it might change what we watch on TV in two Saturdays, or if we go to watch a football game in Dallas etc.  We will give each other crap for about 30 minutes and that will be the end of that.

Why was '97 depressing? I was impressed we stayed within 30. That NU team was probably the best college football team of all time. GCFTOAT.

Agreed, he is a douche.  But not all of what you posted has truth.  Every Husker loss I have been to was proceeded by applause from Husker fans for the opponent who had just bested us.  I was at the Okie State game in 2007 where the Cowpokes beat the holy piss out of us on homecoming.  I stayed thru the very end and clapped as they strode off the field.

I for one don't feel that there is any bad blood between NU and KSU.  Like donkeypunch said, fans in Aggieville are a helluva lot of fun to party with.  Christ, a good friend of mine is a KSU alum, and another is as psycho a KSU fan as any.

The craziest thing is, it has been a few years since a game between NU and KSU has meant so much for either program.  Nebraska is attempting to return to the national prominence it had enjoyed for so long.  KSU and Snyder are trying to recapture what he once brought to the program.

Realistically though, a loss for KSU won't mean that much.  No one expected them to be at this point, so no one will really pay much attention when they lose.  Nebraska, OTOH, has so much more at stake.  If they don't win the North then it will be considered a step in the wrong direction after last season and a sign that something is wrong in Lincoln.

Oh spare me the old Corn condescension . . . you guys only applaud now because you got some publicity out of it and you want to listen to tv color guys talking about you're such "smart fans" over and over again . . . we all know the Corn SID is probably talking to those guys before the game begging them to tell everyone how "intelligent" Corn fans are about the game of football, "Why did you see how fast these Corn fans jumped all over the Referee . . . why they're the most intelligent football fans in the country, they REALLY know their football here in Cornhole."  (All the little corn inbreds sit up a little straighter in their chairs, take another swig of Carlings Black Label and dub it their crowning moment in life . . . did ya hear that honey, he just said I was the most intelligent fan in all of college football).

Daxi, you need to go and slap the wife around a little or something. Your obvious envious tirades are a pure joy to witness. Geebus, the way you throw around the word "cornhole" you sound like you have homosexual tendencies. But you just keep on being you the best you know how. Douchebag :bootyshake:
