I mean Lew had to have a file on Mangino 10 ft thick to be able to pour all of this crap out on the floor. Will Lew create a new "file" with regards to the replacement coach? Will the next coach be under heavy watch from the front office; so if they start to suck they can foce them out? Do all ADs dig up dirt on their coaches? Who would walk into that type of situation?

Of course ku is a bcs school and the job carries a big pay check. I do not think they get a big name coach though unless he carries a lot of baggage coming in, considering the way this tenure is ending I doubt they will hire that type of coach. If they are smart they will hire similar to what they did last time. A coordinator at a successful BCS school, but that doesn't always pan out either. It amazes me that more ku fans aren't questioning this more and at least entertaining the thought of keeping a coach that has been very successful at ku.

This whole thing has been foul from the start because everyone knows lew was going to gas MM at the end of the of the 07 season, but the problem was mm won 12 games. Then in 08 he won 8 including a bowl win. lew has been waiting for 2+ years to have a chance to fire mm and now it appears petty. Most of the allegations I have heard happened long in the past. Seems like when the football program was put on probabtion for academic fraud, cheating on coaches tests and other violations would have been the perfect time for lew to show mm the door.

Perkins will come out of this looking pretty lousy because he should have let mm go a long time ago but kept him as long as he won football games for ku. No integrity what so ever IMO.
