Coaches yell all the time. I remember Frank yelling in JP's face last year, "You are the most selfish son of a &@#%ing bitch I've met in my &@#%ing life." or something to that affect in the Oregon game. Still it does seem like some of this stuff is a bit over the top. 

Side Note:  Players complaining about coaches getting in their face and in their "bubble" what a joke.

It does seem that most of his tirades and belittlement are aimed at (or at least reported by) non-white players. I think Rivera will be the final nail in the industrial-sized coffin when he talks to the uk folks. Seems like Rivera was pushed too quickly back from injury, or berated for not risking health and coming back too soon. I work with a guy whose son is on the ku football team and another guy whose daughter is dating a player from the team.   They've both told me in the past three days that alot about mangino was going to come out over the next week, but it wouldn't be close to everything bad about him.   

Racist remarks were brought up by both of them - and said that the stuff they're reading in the papers isn't even the tip of the iceberg with what they've heard/personally witnessed.

Neither of them would tell me exactly what was said - but would just state that he deserved to be fired and he was a terrible "mentor" / it was only a matter of time before this came back to bite him.
