1. ESPNews just reported that Notre Dame is going to interview Jim Harbaugh and I have it on pretty good authority that it will for sure be either him or Kelly from Cincy.

2. There's alot of movement on the uk front:

Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh is likely their #1 target but if he takes the ND job
Southern Mississipi coach Larry Fedora, Buffalo coach Turner Gill, Boise State coach Chris Peterson, Kevin Sumlin of Houston, Brent Venables of Oklahoma, Butch Jones of Central Michigan, UConn's Randy Edsall and now I'm hearing Ole Miss's Houston Nutt become the next targets. There are reports that Sumlin is about to get a big raise from Houston so that might end the Sumlin to uk talk. If that happens expect Gill to be the next target.

3. There's talk that Norm Chow could return to USC as offensive coordinator if Jeremy Bates returns to the NFL

4. There is alot to the Charlie Strong to Louisville rumors

Just stop, seriously.  We all watch ESPN/visit espn.com and can read these things for ourselves.  You aren't giving us new or secret information, dildo.

If any head football coach ever takes into account his wife's family or where she grew up when deciding where to coach he is automatically a pretty sh1tty coach.

That's not even a rumor, that actually happened.

Seriously though, never reveal your sources, no matter what.

There's a new sheriff in town.
Lew better get his "search" wrapped up, or he'll be the last one, taking sloppy seconds (or thirds, or fourths, etc)

1. An updated list for the Cincinnati job:

Kerry Coombs, Cincinnati associate head coach
Jeff Quinn, Cincinnati offensive coordinator
Skip Holtz, Head Coach East Carolina
Butch Jones, Head Coach Central Michigan
Kevin Sumlin, Head Coach Houston (hasn't signed that extension yet)
Chris Petersen, Head Coach Boise State
Kevin Wilson, Oklahoma offensive coordinator
Al Golden, Head Coach Temple
Phillip Fulmer, Former Tennessee Head Coach

2. Update on the uk job:

Jim Harbaugh is the #1 target
Turner Gill has spoken to ADLP (which we already knew)
Skip Holtz would take the job if offered
A formal interview has been scheduled with Central Michigan's Butch Jones
UConn's Randy Edsall's name has apparently disappeared from the possibilities

If you'd read this site, you'd see that Harbaugh made an interesting decision on an assistant coach.  He's not leaving Stanford.  (as if he was anyway, LOL)

jack harbaugh interim RB coach for the bowl game.  not really a permanent position

doesn't matter, anyway.  people like catfan0506 seem to lose all common sense while these coaching searches go on.  harbaugh is an up-and-coming coach, had a great season at stanford, and sees the writing on the wall in ann arbor.

he'll stay at stanford until rodriguez is fired at michigan, then take over the wolverines.  not rocket science to see how that works.
