I am not positive, but if all the slots are not filled by qualified teams, then there would be a chance for the Cats at 6-6.
All of the games are going to be played and nobody is going to play in 2. So in theory, it still is a possibility, albeit a slight one.
There are 68 bowl slots. There are currently 61 teams eligible. There are 15 teams 1 game short of eligibility.
Those teams are:
uk (texass and misery)
aTm (plays Baylor this weekend the texass)
UCLA (plays 4-6 Az St and USC)
La-La (plays 6-4 La-Monroe and 7-3 Troy)
Fla St. (plays 2-8 Maryland and tebow's golden nutsack)
Duke (plays the U and Wake)
USF (plays Louisville, the U, and UConn
UAB (plays 6-4 ECU and 6-4 UCF)
Marshall (plays 6-4 SMU and 3-7 UTEP)

10 other teams besides us have not been eliminated but are sitting two or more games away.
