He's not getting nearly enough Heisman talk imo.  He's having a hell of a year and our DBs are going to have to bring their "A" game to slow him down.  Do we just pound the D-Train and try to keep him off the field and limit possessions?  Would like some HFBIQ'r input on this.

I'm also kind of worried about them having the "home field advantage" with the game being in TX.  We're going to have to make sure and get the purple out and be loud.  We're staying at the Hilton near the stadium.

Get a big lead on them early, make him carry the team.  Hurt him when possible.

Basically, all we have to do is beat NU which doesn't concern me.  Bill will use most of this week to gameplan Texas.

Well, first you have to:

Uhhhhh, beat Nebraska at home.  A feat accomplished only once in the last 40 years.  Ironically though, Snyder was the coach and Pelini was our defensive coordinator.

Still, I wouldn't hold out much hope.  If our offense clicks even A LITTLE, I see Nebraska winning by at least 14.

Do you guys know where the K-State bar/hang-out will be in TX?  We should all get together the night before the game.

Most likely in the Nebraska section, reserved for the Big 12 North winners?  We're always cordial, and will gladly let ya'll chill with us in Dallas.  Just don't wear anything purple, it's really ugly.

I'm pretty excited about this game.  Always good to play our rivals on a big stage.

How much of this week do you think we should spend gameplanning for Texas?

I'd say M/Tu/W at least.  I mean, Texas is really good.  We are going to have to play our best to beat them.  I give us a 50% chance at most.  Who knows though :dunno:

Heard a rumor that the team has a countdown clock in the locker room for the Texas game with Colt's face in the middle of it.  Hopefully we get to him early and often.

    The very best.
in all seriousness, the texas defense is just nasty. moving the ball will call for a full use of the snyd's playbook.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

It's like, you want to be relieved when you get Colt off the field but then you see that Grant and the boys have to run up against that and I don't know which is the lesser of two evils.   :ohno:

Guys i don't think we should be overlooking our opponent. We have to worry about who we will be playing in the Big 12 CCG before we play Texas for the national championship.
