If ku wins today, we lose next week, then where do we stand for Big 12 champ game I relize what that champ game result would be but let wondering how this could play out. :AA:

We don't stand anywhere.  We win next week we are the North champs - we lose and we aren't champs and don't go bowling.  Nebraska's outcome against CU and ku don't mean anything

We don't stand anywhere.  We win next week we are the North champs - we lose and we aren't champs and don't go bowling.  Nebraska's outcome against CU and ku don't mean anything

There is a scenario whereby nubb losses to ku and CU and ISU wins out.  This is a 3 way tie and KSU holds tie breaker this way:

1.  Records of ISU, NU and KSU against each other are all 1-1
2.  Records of ISU, NU and KSU against the division.  KSU and ISU would be 3-2, NU is 2-3.
3.  This leaves ISU and KSU tied and thus KSU wins by head to head.

There is another scenario similar to above, but ku wins out:

1.  Records of ku, NU and KSU against each other are all 1-1
2.  Records of ku, NU and KSU against the division.  KSU and ku would be 3-2, NU is 2-3.
3.  This leaves ku and KSU tied and thus KSU wins by head to head.

There is a 4 way tie scenario: KSU loses out; NU wins vs KSU, loses to ku and CU; CU loses to ISU, wins vs OSU and NU and ISU wins out:

1.  Records of KSU, NU, CU and ISU against each other: KSU is 2-1, NU is 1-2, CU is 1-2 and ISU is 2-1.
2.  This leaves ISU and KSU tied and thus KSU wins by head to head.

Amazingly, there is a 5 way tie scenario:  KSU loses out; NU wins vs KSU, loses to ku and CU; CU loses to ISU, wins vs OSU and NU; ISU wins out; and ku wins out:

1.  Records of KSU, NU, CU, ISU and ku against each other: KSU is 3-1, NU is 1-3, CU is 2-2; ISU is 2-2; and ku is 2-2.
2.  KSU wins by virtue of best record.

Will any of this happen ?   I could win the lottery too...

OK, you can throw out all the inane 3, 4 and 5 way ties now.  It is guaranteed that either KSU, NU or both will reach 5 conference wins.  No other North team can get to 5 wins.

Because of that, winner takes the North next Saturday in Lincoln.

    I may be full of sh*t, but i won't be de-turd.
Love how all the talking heads say NU controls its own destiny. But quietly as a footnote, K-state could also make the Dr. Pepper if they beat NU. I don't know if they realize more than one team can control their own destiny
