The "sub par talent" orchestra is really roaring in the past few hours.

No $hit we have "sub par talent" . . . that's why you do everything you can to exploit the weaknesses of the other team.

Throwing the ball 10 times in the first half is not exploiting MU's weakness.

Really a pathetic gameplan from Snyder/Miller/Dimel . . . but I can gurantee you, it won't matter how much talent we have, those 3, if they continue to be K-State's offensive brain trust will have multiple WTF offensive gameplans in the future.   This isn't the first rodeo with these guys.

The talent is not really sub-par relative to the conference this year.

Talent levels on teams we have played...

KSU>>>UMASS
KSU>>>ULL
UCLA>>>KSU
KSU>>>Ten Tech
KSU = or > ISU
Tech>>>KSU  not close
ATM>>>KSU  bigger gap that you would expect
KSU about = CU
OU>>>KSU  not close
KSU about = ku
MU>>>KSU not close but MU is young talent
NU>>>KSU pretty close but a sure edge to NU esp on defense

I didn't read this entire thread, because I was about to throw up reading all the posts from whiners who love the coaches and players when things go well and then throw in the towel when there is the least little hiccup.  No joke, KSU doesn't have the talent of other teams we're playing, that's what's been outstanding about this season so far.  KSU has won games by managing them.  The same thing could have happened against Mizzou if the team could have executed.  Brandon Banks fumbles through the endzone gives up a sure TD 7 points.  Daniel Thomas fumbles when KSU is driving 14 points.  Daniel Thomas misses a pass in the flat to Mastrud we trade a TD for a FG 18 points.  John Houlik drops an interception that hit him in the hands and MU eventually scores.  I'm not dogging on the team, because sometimes things happen, but that game could have been a lot different hinged on a few plays.  We don't have much margin for error when a team has that much more talent than we do, but we could have won that game.  And this team is not devoid of talent either, I'm proud of the way they have turned this season around from crap to making a run.  Grant Gregory is a class act, I'll take him on my team anytime.

And I'll tell you what, based on the way this year has gone, NU better not come into the game on Sat. thinking they have it won, because I'll bet you anything this KSU team is going to show up to play.

I'd also add that the "if we'd only done this or that" on a few select plays crowd is really crowing.

The fact of the matter is . . . when a talented team has a glaring weakness you attack it over and over and over  until they stop it, you don't live on the edges which demands that every PI opportunity happens and they you never turn the ball over.

Again . . . just a turd gameplan by the K-State offensive staff which makes for about the 3rd turd offensive gameplan in Big 12 play: Tech, CU and MU.

I've been pretty consistent in my not sucking off the staff, FWIW.

We're not very good.

LHCCSnyder (is that the right abbreviation?) has a lot of us :beerchug: the kool-aid.

Me personally, after the disgusting loss to Louisiana, I've been waiting for :skillz: season.

Replacing Freems with GG is about the equivalent as replacing RP with OB.  Pretty big gap both ways, IMO.

Which is why ksu will prolly have the same record as last year.

Geez, what a pack of fair-weather ku-ish fans! Yeah, we played pretty suckish on Sat., but all in all, this season's been amazingly better than I'd anticipated. Going into the season I had no expectations at all; I thought that just bringing Snyder back wasn't going to immediately fix everything that Prince had broken. But we choke and blow a couple games and all the I-knew-we-were-gonna-suck whiners come out of the woodwork. FARK you all, go to Lawrence where you'll fit right in!   :curse:

I accept that we suck and that's ok because bill snyder is our coach again and it doesn't matter if we play like shlt because he's earned the right to bury our program.

I like how you focus on the offense and completely ignore the fact that the defense gave up 38 pts.  unless you think 40 pts was a lock if we throw 60 times, its completely irrelevant to keep arguing this coaching "blunder".

this game was all about mizzou and all about their talent showing up and playing well.

I don't blame the defense so much . . . they weren't going to keep Moo out of the endzone, I personally felt all along that we were going to have to out and put a lot of points on the board and really crank up the passing game.

I also can't really blame the O-line too much because they were put in a bad position, by a bad gameplan.

defense gave up 8.7 yards per play.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

LOL at the people who were lapping all over Charlie Dickey's nut sack . . . because his O-Line has been blown up all day.
