Dear ku,

Good luck in your bowl game.  Myself and the rest of the state will be cheering for you to represent Kansas well.

Dear ku,

I wish you poor luck in your bowl game.  I hope a couple of your players get hurt.  Also, I hope your bell tower thing burns down.  You suck.

Hey, tard, no one's saying prince shouldn't have been fired.  So it really doesn't matter.

The idea of using Prince as the measuring stick for Snyder's success is very sad and k-statish.

Yeah, I was kind of glad when it went away and everyone was all "NORTH CHAMPS", but the Ron Prince is our measuring stick mentality will be back in full force for a long time.  Unless we fight it.

unfortunately, it will always be there....but should it leave us, the "we used to be terrible before snyder came to ksu" will creep back in.  it did in 04 and 05.  like we should be thankful for winning 2 games, just because there were years where we didn't win one game.

i mean, if ISU wins today, they'll probably finish with the same record as KSU.  So should the hall of fame wait for Paul Rhodes?

Comparos to RP are very loserish.  I think the team exceeded expectations slightly, win or lose to NU.  Sucks we couldn't have pulled out a win against UCLA or LALA to get to a bowl game.  We weren't going to beat OU, TTU any anytime.

gmafb.   all the "we're lining up correct this year" and "snyds is coaching em up" and "we just look like a different team" and "they're more fundamentallly sound"....all of that bullsh*t is going to add up to 1 more win.  1 f*cking win with a monumentally easier schedule.  basically, if we don't drop passes against CU last year, we win the same amount.  genius my ass.

It's going to be two more wins in conference.  Also we had a first round draft pick at QB last season and this year we had Carson Coffman and Grant Gregory.  The La La game is what really is going to end up hurting a lot.  We played that so early before we knew what the hell we were doing.

Yes, but with more players getting hurt and whatnot.

This thread is pretty funny after all the "I would be happy with 0 wins the rest of the season" comments after the ku game.

I actually thought the opening gameplan was pretty good, and fairly similar to what we used against ku except we had a couple bad breaks and the team came out FLAT.  After last week and looking forward to NU, I'm not sure how you can be too surprised.  Was very frustrating to watch them suck that bad, but I'm still on OB's B's.

jfc.  ron won just as many conference games with a true freshman qb in his first year.  but if we want to continue to act like bill has turned water into wine, then so be it.

The game plan was fine it had the game 17-12 with less then a minute to go in the 4th quarter.  We probably should have been ahead at that point had Banks not tried to stick the ball out from the one yard line.

We just have a very specific formula we need to play too and a very small margin for error.  Because of the game situation we  had to get away from that formula in the 4th quarter and the game got away from us as a result.  Think about it we were minus 3 in turnovers.  We had 7 trips deep into MU territory and ended up with 12 points.  We also dropped two interceptions that were right in our hands one of which probably would have been a TD.  You're going to get beat soundly pretty much every time playing like that.

Why so down on Harper?  Dude's shoulder has been hurt.  Doesn't mean he won't be able to throw by next fall.  Sure, he might not be any more accurate than GG, but he might not have to be.  Playing him at WR makes no sense if Carson is the QB.  What is the point of Lamark/Harper at WR if Carson can't get them the ball?

Next season hinges on (a) Harper being able to throw or (b) recruiting a QB who can run and throw.  Uhhhhh.  Yeah.   :hope:

This post is a joke...how dare u call out snyder, wtf. You and everyone else were fondling his balls last week and now he's a terrible coach. He can't teach speed, or agility, or size, and coaching this bunch of Ron Prince left overs is like teaching a bunch of 10th graders who should still be in 5th grade. Just frackin stop this post is an embarassment and a joke.

what chances did he have to recruit a difference maker at QB that would have won more then 6 games this year?  Maybe the kid at Utah but he would be the only one.  Also people forget that he signed in the early period and Freeman didn't even announce he was leaving until about two weeks after the kid signed with Utah.

Snyder needs to recruit a QB that can run his system.  But it really didn't have much to do with this season. No true freshman we ever had a shot at was going to come in and play any better then Gregory who by the way was a Snyder recruit.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

The second paragraph is spot on.  We should have passed the ball more though, MU was in the box all day and has been good vs. the run all season.  They've been bad against the pass as well.  We could have softened their D up with passing then hit them with DT.

The difference between this year and previous years is that we go to the CCG if we win our last game.  That means everything.  Snyder is on the verge of pulling off a epic Gary Barnett maneuver.  As such, we won't know of the results until after NU.

the simple fact is that our talent level is sub par for the big 12.  we have no margin for error.  today we made several very large blunders, including banks's fumble, thomas's fumble, hartman whiffing on a pick resulting in a td for mizzou, houlik being houlik and dropping an int, meanwhile what mistakes did mizzou make?  today it wasnt about coaching, and was even a little less about talent; it was about mizzou not making mistakes and us making several.

This is a great point.  We absolutely have to recruit better than we are right now.
