So last night, I head over to the nearest Sun Fresh with my 8 year old son. Of course, all this week he and I have been wearing K-State shirts. Heading into the store I see an older woman wearing her black MIZZOU sweatshirt (I snicker a little).

While the boy and I are walking thru the aisles, we come upon 2 people walking our way. The guy is wearing a Yellow MU shirt and an MU hat (the woman, who was ugly, has no college-insigniad shirt on). As the guy passes us he says (to his mate) loud enough for me to hear "K-State wins a few games and out comes the K-State gear". My loud response (aimed at my boy) "Hear that (insert son's name) we're back to pissing off MU fans."

If son wasn't with me, response would have included some choice words.

Point being, MU "fans" are everywhere in KC now since they've had their couple years of success. K-State fans STILL wore their purple back when "Coach" Prince was killing KSU football.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
I generally keep my ridiculously colored KSU gear in the closet when not attending games.

This would change if I could get an elite "K-STATE" in elite font on a black hoodie, FWIW.

I wear KSU gear occasionally, but it never elicits a response from anyone, because people have actually have some self-respect in the places where I go.  If someone ever did comment, I'd just ignore it and assume that loser lives in Kansas, Missouri or Nebraska, so ultimately the joke is on him.

Sorry, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas residents.

Actually, we usually just feel sorry for them. Just like little Jimmy, here, another obvious MU fan.

I try to wear my gear more often when Nebraska is doing bad.  This does 4 things.
1) As we have mentioned before, success of your team depends directly on how much the fans (like us) cheer and talk sh*t on message boards.
2) Makes me remember that I need to work harder at being a Husker fan, talk more sh*t on message boards, and draw up plays to give to Pelini.
3) Tell recruits, hey Husker fans really love their team.
4) Allows me to practice my Donkey Punch on people who give me sh*t.

MU fans are harmless.  They think we have some type of team-up going on against ku, I think it is kind of funny.  Last Saturday at the Levee this dude comes up and starts babbling about Mizzou and how much he hates ku.  I was wearing KSU gear after gameday and had to feed him some pellets before he went and followed his mom(no joke) somewhere.

I never have encounters like this.

I live in Topeka.  Half of the people I work with (and the vast majority of the a-holes) are ku fans.  I make sure to wear KSU gear when I can just to irritate the douchiest of them.  Also, if I head over to Lawrence with friends for a variety of reasons I always wear KSU gear.  I get comments, I respectly point out their ignorance and cheatin' ways, and the shut the f up - they aren't used to anyone puttin' up with their crap so they don't know what to say at that point.  Sort of fun for me.

A couple of young ku chicks I work with avoided me all week in light of their crap talking before the game last week.  Not surprising.

It is good to see that your running the Nubb's O.  No wonder they are stinking it up.  :woohoo:   Please give Pelini your signature Qb slapping the team on the butt play.  Maybe he wont get pissed off at Bill when Bill runs up the score on him.

How long have you been drawing up the plays?  Did you design that "throw a TD pass while your knee is down" play for J. Lord?
