    The very best.
Yeah, and I remember JonBenet promptly throwing a pick when ku was down 10 points in the 4th quarter vs OSU.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I can't even imagine how bad this season might have turned out if Meier was still playing.

and im going to assume you were joking.  but hey, congrats to meier for beating 3 teams that werent even remotely close to big 12 level competition, which is of course something hes NEVER won.

btw, is anyone even remotely surprised that his little brother is as big of a pussy as dylan?  did anyone not think hed spend his career on the sidelines?

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Big time college quarterbacks from small-time Kansas football do not equal Big time D1 college quarterbacks.  It just doesn't happen, most of them would be mediocre at the 5A level much less the 6A.
If you ask me how I know my response is I'm living proof.  Many moons ago during my senior year I ran for a 1000 threw for a 1000 and had 3000 all purpose yards, I ended up playing baseball in college, but did receive an offer to "punt" from a D1 school.   :yuck:

It can happen.  Lots of good QBs accross the nation come from small schools.  It's just a lot less likely to happen in a state with such a small population.

Personally, I can't wait for the Meier vs. Meier matchup at the end of the season.

and that would be "who can keep their spot on the bench warmest" or "who can not &@#% up a kick hold?".  Two great matchups to look forward to for sure.

Okay, name me 5 big time college quarterbacks that have come out of small towns in KS.  Because that was my original point.

Since Brooke Berringer, who remains deceased, has already been named.  I will complete the list with....

Jeff Schwinn.

He was still flying the US Cellular plane Saturday.
