So I was out walking this morning and a thought came over me.  I have been perusing other bbs's and noticing a lot of naysaying and excuses about KSU leading and possibly winning the north to represent in the Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship Game down in Texas this year.

You see the thought, the one that brought a big smile to my face, was one of victory.  We have two scheduled games left, first Mizzou and then a trip to Lincoln.  After we systematically dispose of MU giving one Bill Snyder his 14th consecutive victory over their beloved Tigers, we will head up to Lincoln and beat Bo Pelini and the Huskers so bad the head coach will be spitting and calling our coaches names again.  The Wildcats will have earned one of these

After being crowned Big 12 North Champions(History Repeats itself ) we will then move on to battle Mack Brown in the highly contested Chisholm Trail Rivalry game.  This year the game is not only for braggin' rights but for the right to hoist this .  With over two weeks to prepare, coaching genius Bill Snyder will lead our Wildcats to a surprise victory over the Longhorns.

After dispatching of the Big 12 Conference with relative ease we will be rewarded with a trip to Arizona to participate in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl just after the new year.  I'm not sure who the opponent will be but my money says it is going to be one Gary Patterson and his tcu Horned frogs.  The bunch from tcu will be plenty fired up after getting spurned by the pollsters, for keeping them out of the title game, and hoping to dominate our Wildcats enroute to a #1 ranking from the AP voters.

Unfortunately for "It's Patterson" and his band of Horned Frogs with blood squirting our of their eyes, future hall of famer, and recognized coaching messiah Bill Snyder will have his Wildcats primed for the upset.  Daniel Thomas will score three touchdowns(1 passing, 1 rushing, 1 recieving) and the wildcats will cruise to an easy victory of at least 20 points.  PAtterson will take notice as KSU hoists

After the game Patterson will ponder his future, his teams snubbing at the chance of a BCS championship and the chance to win one of these , the fact that he had just been schooled by coaching master Bill Snyder, and lastly the immense talent of one Daniel Thomas.  After thinking about the situation GP will then decide that returning to Manhattan as HCIW and getting the chance to learn from Super High Football Intelligent Quotient Master of Motivation Bill Snyder, returning home to his alma mater, and coaching in a true football power and BCS conference member is just too much to pass up.

After the hire, Being the saint that he is LHOFMOATIFBACAWARACBS will decide that he will make GP Co-Head Coach before stepping down after the 2010 season to retire and work on mentoring young Kansans' and market his signature brand of butter pats.(all proceeds will go to KSU athletics and Academics{but mostly athletics})

I'm not sure what happens next but I'm sure it will be a great ride.

Never hurts to dream a little, I will be thrilled if we can just win on Saturday and become bowl eligible.
