Thomas Clayton is out of the picture.

That change has been the difference.

Johnson and Patton are legit threats.  Freeman is freed up by them.  The O-line isn't presented with consistent failure.

We're winning and scoring points.

The best post you've made since the "crap myself" story. 

Out of the two I think that Patton is the only threat to break the really long run because he sees the field much better than Johnson but Johnson's not too freaking bad.

I'd say the competition had a lot to do with it.  ISU is just terrible and we were playing on the road against a decent football team in Baylor.  But, I do agree that Patton and Johnson are better than Clayton.
