Was just commenting on how bad IMO's blows.  I don't think any of the others are franchises.

Hooters would succeed depending on location.  Put on a bunch of UFC fights there and it would kill except I would never in a million years want to go there.  Don't really know why someone would want the franchise because the food sucks and you could just have your waitstaff dress skimpy.  Prob has to do with having their legal team fight sexual harassment suits  .

strip clubs don't work well in college towns.   strippers don't dance where the live, they drive elsewhere so that they don't run into customers at the Dairy Queen.

Yeah and the customers have to be min. 10 feet from the stage.  It is all on the city website.

Saw some suggestions for Dunkin' Donuts.  A franchisee in KC is opening almost 20 of them in KC area in the coming weeks/months.

All of those 3 establishments were frequently mentioned as desirable for late night meals during my time in MHK.

LJS was there for a bit then closed down.
