They should tack on $50 to that....that's the only way they could convince somebody to go to that dump.

Live in Lowrents...  Its basketball season here.  :skillz:  Has been since about 2:00 PM Saturday.  <snicker>

Every person that had something to say to me about me sporting a Wildcat football jersey on Mass on Friday had only one thing to say to me Sunday.  "Wait 'till Jan 30th!"

Pretty sure that a "student guest" ticket works for anyone.  Its just like the complimentary tickets they gave out earlier in the year.

I'm confused.  I thought folks such as BMW assured that no tickets have been given away this year, referring to them as "mythical."

Hey, BMW, do you want to explain this to me - and then go explain it to dominatindj11 over at phagnet?

That new add on suite section is going to be hilarious.  It could even be funnier than the completely empty plastic recliners on bleachers in the endzone.

ku football is totally screwed if the chiefs ever get good again. all the white trash kansas city people will just stay in town to go to fball games.

Now I may be crazy, but think about this...

uk gives away x number of tickets for $0. The only money they get from those people are concessions.  These tickets could end up in the hands of anyone, including 'skers, or no one one at all.  In the latter case, they don't even get concession money.  The only ones that profit are the students who sell them to their 'sker life partners.

Now instead of giving x tickets away, they sell them to anyone, including in all likelihood, a large number of 'skers.  They get the same, and probably more, concession money as they would have giving them away, plus they get the money from selling the tickets.  Probably enough to pay another basketball recruit or two.

Doesn't seem like a smart business model.
