ku game has come and gone.  Lets turn our focus on Saturday.  We still have bowl eligibility and a B12N title to attain.

MU is alot like ku. Pass happy that can't run the ball. They don't do anything terrible..or great. If our defense wins the turnover margin by 2 we win. If we play sloppy (something not seen since TTech) then MU will stay in the game and have a chance to take the lead in the 4th. MU is dangerous,.

Same Formula:

1. Run
2. Defend the Run
3. Do something special once or twice in Special Teams and the Passing game
4. Force their young QB to have a long day and turnover the ball.  Don't let Alexander have a career day.

We have to throw the ball better to beat MU.  Just like against ku we will have guys running open behind the defense we need to hit on a couple of those throws to win.  We should have beat ku 31-10 or so.   We'll need to score 30 or so to beat Missouri.

Great point Legore.  We connect on even 2 of those long passes on MU and the game will be much easier to win.

I would of said the same thing until the ku game. I thought that would of been a 24-30 type game.  Mizzou still worries me because of our secondary and linebackers.

We will definitely need to stifle any form of running game, take away that dimension altogether.

Control the clock, hit the open receivers and the crowd will need to count each of Willie's push-ups with the proper cadence.  Also, watch the "U" at the end and hold it the right amount of time.

Easier said than done, I know.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Would also like Missouri's quarterback to take notes from Mangino/Reesing on how to engineer 7 minute drives that result in a field goal anytime they are down by 10 or more in the 4th quarter. Nice to have opponent help us run down the clock.

With the exception of the banks dropped ball  :banghead: and lamarks dropped ball :banghead: i don't think we need to worry about anything that happened in the passing game sat., if we can establish the run and create a couple turnovers we'll be fine
