i've heard many people claim that the north is awful (it is), and we're just lucky bc everyone else sucks.

if memory serves, didn't the '03 north division suck, too? like, maybe even worse than it does now?
 
i might argue that today's north is better than it was in '03, as we were really the only good team then.
