Have you looked into a slingbox?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

No I haven't, but that's actually a damn fine idea.

Southwest? Did you mean midwest?

I didn't think you could do that. I thought they blacked out the games not in the Kansas area.

They do, unless you tell them you live in Kansas.

Oops!!

I did mean "midwest"... Just get so used to everything being FSSW down here.

I think games are blacked out "normally", but not with "Sports Pak'.  Hell, I could get Northern Illinois vs Temple last weekend...   You'd be surprised at some of the obscure crap I can pick up from all reaches of the US now.

I think you need to look into this a little closer.   :blindfold:

Where do you live?  Do you have Directv and issues with picking up games?

I'm able to pick up everything that the Fox Sports affiliates are showing regionally now, why would that change?

I live in Houston and have the same package on Dish  You will NOT get the KSU basketball games here that are televised on fox sports midwest.  It a really f-upped contract thing the Big 12 has.  The only way around it is to have Dish/Direct TV think you live in Kansas.

    This ZERO is my Hero
In Pittsburgh, I get Fox Sports Central, and get alot of KSU games.  Sometimes the local FSN have blackedout the KSU FBall games, but if I change it too FSN Central I can watch it there.
Last year there were a couple mens BBall games on it too.  I hope that means I will get alot of the games this year,  they'd be crazy not put it on FSN Central, I am sure some Cincy fans would want to watch too

Tell them you moved, have them ship you a Kansas card to a KSU friend's address, and have that person send you the card.

Slingbox will allow you to view your home television on your laptop, pda, phone, or whatever.  It doesn't change the fact that you still need the access to the signal.  Unless F-triple is suggesting you get a slingbox and all stream from his IP.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Yes, all you'd have to do is buy me the slingbox. I'd do it.

I'm pretty sure that only one stream is allowed per box, is that right?

Mr. Pimp....I would highly recommend you find someone in KS that doesn't have DirecTv, and "move" in with them, at least for bball season.

So, I could tell them that I moved to my sis & bro-in-law's address in Newton and they'd just send a "Kansas card" to me there?

Since I'm leasing equipment, aren't they gonna want to come take my satellite dish off of my house?

i checked it out on wikipedia, but i'm not sure how that'll get me ksu games.  would they show the ksu games in lawrence on fsn midwest if there's a ku game during it?

btw fatty-i still plan on going to almost every ksu game second semester, and during winter break.  there's no way i can make any weekday games until then.
