Actually, nubb winning tonight makes the mizzou game almost moot.  Winner takes all in our game up there unless we beat mizzou and colorado beats nu.

No, but it requires more "ifs" than winner takes all in lincoln.

Here is the scenario..

For KSU to win the north:

Scenario 1:  KSU beats MU and NU -> Game over. KSU goes in with 6-2 record.

Scenario 2:  KSU beats MU, NU loses to ku (KSU 5-2, NU-3-3).

NU would have to beat KSU and CU to win the north (KSU 5-3, NU 5-3, nu owns the tie breaker.), NU loses either game, they're out.

Scenario 3:  KSU beats MU, NU beats ku (KSU 5-2, NU 4-2)

NU beats KSU, (NU 5-2, KSU 5-3) but Nubb loses to Colorado.  Colorado would have to beat both Iowa State and Oklahoma State to force a three way tie, in which case, the highest ranked BCS, otherwise, NU could lose to Colorado and still claim the title. (NU 5-3, KSU 5-3)

Scenario 4:  KSU loses to MU, NU beats ku (KSU 4-3, NU 4-2)
KSU would have to beat NU to win it, no matter what happened with the Colorado game, unless Colorado won out then the tie breakers would take effect.

If KSU and NU tied and Colorado won out, all three would be 5-3 with the BCS tie breaker going into place.   Since the only components that would make the BCS numbers available would be computers then Colorado could go past if they ended up beating the higher ranked Oklahoma State and getting a boost in the strength of Schedule.

If I were Snydz.. I'd say, let's just beat MU and NU, go take Texas and then go to the Fiesta Bowl where MJ will be hosting the greatest party ever at the Phoenician.

I said the same thing in a lot less words just a few threads ago.  Stop wasting our time when you could be packaging up those coolers for delivery.

Just like old times.  I like it.  Funny the two teams in the north who decided to PLAY DEFENSE and RUN the football are leading.

Plus don't forget these guys are still in it to win it by adhering to the same principles 40% of the time.

    I think therefore I think I'm hungry
As bad as CU is on the road, I don't like their odds of winning both road games. So I think we can forget about them.
