    The very best.
He's done a great job w/blocking, but infuriating to see val's trot on the field w/thomas on the siddlines.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Because Thomas' Back needs a rest from carrying this team on it.  It's nice to let him get a breather from time to time.

Yeah, DT isn't 100%.  You've to to give him some breaks.

Valentine had some great blocks.

Here's hoping we can wrap up the B12N against Mizzou and then just rest D-Train against UNL.

It's a little of this:

DT is Banged up.

... and a lot of this:

Because Thomas' Back needs a rest from carrying this team on it.  It's nice to let him get a breather from time to time.

and FWIW... DT is the best thing set foot on the playing field since Sproles. And I don't mean just at running back.

Uh,
1) Thomas is banged up - when he was out he was hurt (DT was even used as a decoy on a play where I knew he couldn't carry it).

2) You have to give your back a break sometimes no matter what.  Especially with his running style.

3) Valentine is a good change up.  Has had some very good totes this year and had one called back today.

4) Valentine made a sweet sweet block on a key conversion for a first down in the 3rd quarter - he does a lot of good things.

agree with all but #3. Valentine is not a good change up. He's not a good runner.

Seems to be the best option at rb coming off the bench.  Sure he's not a great playmaker like DT, but I haven't noticed him making a lot of errors either.  This team is working with moderately talented players doing their jobs.

    I think therefore I think I'm hungry
I don't mind KV seeing the field especially now that he seems to have cured his fumble woes.

Depth at RB is not a luxery we have, thank goodness for DT. kv is a good kid and tries hard but the talent drop is significant when DT isn't in the game. As others have said DT does need some breaks. I just hope he can remain playing the rest of the way.

 KV. He might not be the most talented player, but he's got a ton of heart.  Put up with a ton of crap and still is one of the best locker room guys.  Kids gonna be EMAW forever.

If NU wins out, we'll be sitting at home in December.   A win tonight for nubb is looking like a remote possibility.
