Better TEAM won today. ku still has the better talent, but Mangino is doing his best Pinkell in wasting it.
ku has a very good running back, but Mangino won't play him. Opurum has the size to block during passing plays and the physicality to punish a defense.
TR did not lose the game throwing the ball. He lost it not being fundamentally sound during the run. Injury was irrelevant; you cannot be careless with the ball against a well coached defense.
Mangino will need to talk up his team and recruits this week; he's on a very slippery slope.
Lew needs to keep a very close eye on his football program the rest of the way. Too many gains have been made in the last 5 years to allow the fanbase to become apathetic. Lose out; find out if Randy Edsell is interested. If not, give Mangino the dreaded vote of confidence.
