even the "i don't care about sports" people are wearing purple. it's disgustingly beautiful.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

i just had an EMAW flashback to 1998 Nebraska week.  they should have just shut down classes from Wed on

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I wore a headband, elite purple shirt, and tennis/purple wristband (thx to katpak)

Lots of intense X's and O's discussion as well, talked to a few former ELITE MHS ftball'ers, they are confident.

Completely bombed my test thingy or whatever though.

KC is EMAW'd up too.  Saw a new Mercedes CL class at intersection of Pershing and Grand rocking a KSU window flag.

my marketing professor (fallin) told everyone in our class to wear purple today, and we would receive extra credit.

well, the entire class was decked out in EMAW today. at the end of class prof. fallin said "we're playing some midget named reesing aren't we? well.... in honor of sacking the hell out of him here are some Reese's..."    and he proceeds to give the whole class reese's candy.

like you said, GUSHING with EMAW.    :ksu:

The Waterboy came out that week too.  Watching Sandler knocking people around got me fired up!

QFT about this entire thread. People were in great moods too. Really sensing some crazy optimism from the whole student body which is a good thing.

I'm so GD ready for this game :ksu: but while sitting here at work and after reading this thread I got even more :steadymobbin': to the point I just couldn't take it anymore.  So, I screamed EMAW and my phone rings, well it's my  :ku: boss who wants to see me in his office.  He asked me what that was all about and I basically told him we were going to :chainsaw: their asses tomorrow and he got all  :ohno: and told me to go home for the day.  What a pussy!

Do you work in a gay bookstore?  That's about the only place where a ku guy would be the boss of an EMAW.

In 1967 you really couldn't find a good purple shirt. Not a lot of "EMAW" on campus.

The new "Big D's Burgers" on TC Blvd. is just as greasy as Kreem kup ever was.  My first trip there I made the twins that work there double bag my stuff.... soaked thru before I could get out the door.  These burgers are thick!  And the owner, Ewing is TOTAL EMAW.

Although I'm new to your cyber boards, I've been documenting the resurgence of EMAW by the government for a fair amount of good time. Most people don't call the Candlewood homeowner's association a government, but I do and the CHA is very impressed with the spreading of EMAW past Riley County. We've done our part for years, by flying house flags proudly, displaying limestone rocks with powercats and our names below. Our kids fight other kids who slander the good name KSU in the Amanda Arnold parking lots.

I leaned over to my wife this past Thursday and said, "this feels like '94 all over again." She's grown fairly used to my EMAW spirit over the years and the Westside Eliteness has gotten the best of her, but she's can rock a mean breakfast burrito at the tailgates.

Anyways..... congrats on finding your inner EMAW once again and us lurkers from the 66503 have noted your enlightened enthusiasm.
