Direct TV?

I saw on one of the other sites (GPC) someone posting about a way to get the game if you have Direct TV?  Does anyone have access to see if there is anything to it...

I thought DTV had Versus if you paid for the sports package.  I had DTV in Manhattan a few years ago and we had Versus.

I thought DTV had Versus if you paid for the sports package.  I had DTV in Manhattan a few years ago and we had Versus.

They did, but the contract ran out in late August.  VS is wanting twice the money as they charge normally since they are a direct competitor cable service.  (VS is owned by comcast)

Thus no VS channel currently.

I called directv and ripped them.  They gave me espn gameplan for free.  espn gameplan does not include this weeks KSU/ku game.  I bought tickets to the game instead.

I'll be at the game but PM me too. I guess Comcast and DirecTV are having a feud over price to show Versus. DTV thinks the price is too high and unreasonable so the channel is not available on DTV until it's resolved.

If your within 150 miles of Manhattan there is no reason not to scrape together the jack to come to this game.

I'm well over 200 miles away and have to cross state lines (you know how scary that is! I yell at the wife to keep her eyes looking forward and let me do all the talking.) I will be there, you can too.
