20-3 Sooners. 'Skers don't cross the 50 until the 3rd quarter.

They have no ground game.  That seems to be the only thing that works vs OU.
"When Beasley dunked in the second half to make it a 12-point game, that was the loudest moment I’ve ever experienced at a college hoops game - Allen Fieldhouse included.”

Not exactly a 9 year old boy ( Suh might take offense) But I don't think we win. We have no Offensive identity. But if Helu is healthy and plays lights out, we win.

TRUE, I never remember Suh... on posts or at Christmas! I posted yesterday that nubb's game has to be flawless. No turnovers, and bring the pain on the offensive side. Suh MUST blast OU's qb as I dont think he has experienced a guy like him yet.

The only chance I see of Nubb winning is if they can knock the Landry Jones out of the game.  Not sure who they have behind that kid.  The OU skill position talent (much like last week) should be plenty to dispatch the Skers if they've got someone competent distributing the ball.  Nubb's got a very stout D-line, but beyond that their defensive talent is not elite.

Offensively Nubb is a trainwreck.  Helu has bad shoulders and fumbles constantly these days.  Neither QB (Green & Lee) has done anything against a team outside the Sun Belt Conference.  No distributor...no moving the ball, particularly vs. a very athletic and good OU defense.  KSU just brought some rather odd looks to the table last week and the commitment to run the ball is pretty rare these days in the Big 12, thus the 30 points.  NU runs a poor pro-style attack and OU’s seen it before in much better forms, run by much more talented players (see UT & Miami).

You broke a couple of rules with that bro:

1.  Never tease (sucker bet)
2.  Never bet on your team (especially in a big game.  Sets you up for real failure.  You could possibly end up with an empty EMAW tank as well as an empty wallett.  Better to hedge and bet against your team)

yeah, i don't like teasers. a couple of roomates and i were bookies in college for a year. we'd try to encourage teasers. we'd also give them worse odds then vegas odds. we'd also change the lines for the cats and chiefs and dare people to bet the other way. they never would though. a few people complained but they'd still bet on cats/chiefs.

I think OU wins and covers probably a 10 to 14 point margin.   But I'm sure the Nub fans will find some stat to hang their hat on and call it a moral victory.  Something like we had 12 penalties and still only lost to OU by ten.   When we quit making these mistakes we're going to be unstoppable.

I would be nice and KITN-esque if we beat ku and MU, and NU still won the North.

The spread is only 5

Oh man of two awesome first names, you must remember that the line is about balancing the handle.  It comes down to the fact that 'Husker fans will bet on the 'Huskers no matter what, so they oddsmakers can't provide a realistic line on the games they play.  Those inbred red wearing, Runza chewing d-bags will always believe that their team will beat any other team due to their past greatness and bet a good hunk of the family farm on it to boot.

On the other end, the OU fans have been disappointed enough this season with some losses they didn't anticipate, so they are more than wise enough not to bet it all on any game.  Instead, incentives must be made (such as with a ridiculous line as with this game) to lure the cash out of their ratty pockets and so their unwashed hands can toss that bet up on the counter.  If the line isn't set so they are sure of the win they'd prefer spending what little cash they have on cheap whiskey for girls with no teeth.

Thought I'd just clear that one up.

Later,
Sam S.

Please now attempt to explain all other NU lines and their subsequent results using your same logic.

i've watched a ton of tape on both teams, there's no way OU wins this game.  NU's defense will destroy OU's inexperienced offense.

unfortunately for K-State, NU wins this one going away.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Suh will probably play lights out, unless a cat crosses his path....I hear he is deathly afraid of cats.
