I posted that this morning before I joined the fray over here.  It didn't get much play, so I didn't figure it was worth bringing over.

Mj, thanks.  I suppose I should've said "outshoot".  I meant as opposed to win with defense, on the boards, etc.  They let Gardner and McKinney and Young score as much as they can and hope their defense, etc. is just good enough to win.  Its worked for 3 games in the league, I can't think they'll ride it to a league title.

I got it the first time, but I just couldn't ignore the comment.

Mizzou's strategy has been Gardner and he's got a great touch.   Outshooting their opponents seems to be the way to go because the more you put up, the law of averages suggest you'll get more points.   Almost like Mike Leach.

That's a good call. 

I think Quin's just letting them play his final year (or what he probably thought going in), and he has enough players that its working.  I think they'll run out of steam eventually though.
