Chris Getz will be in his second year... loads of potential. Josh Fields still developing (yes his numbers aren't great right now) Teahen has reached his ceiling for his potential if you ask me and this frees up a lot of salary room for a move later in the free agent signing period.

Yeah I know Getz will be ok but we could have got so much for him at the deadline if we would have been smarter about it.  Last season we werent going to make any moves for playoffs so why didnt we move him sooner.  Could have got a lot for him.

After realizing the contract situation it was a good move if it happened.  I just think some teams including the cubs would have gave up some quality young players for teahen.  After really looking at the trade im ok with it.  .
