Got a 'B' in HS Alegbra
I will 3rd the reality that UPKS has decreed that ADJC is 100% in control of the athletic department, and everyone, including the football coach is a subordinate employee . . . it doesn't matter who they are, or how much money they're being paid, John Currie is their boss.

that doesn't sound like us

Seems odd that we're talking about 5 big time coaches that were players from the 5 or so year Dickey era and there are very few from Snyder's 17 years.

Joe Bob
Venables
Ekeler (is this maniac really a good coach?)
Beasley (still a GA)
Mike Smith (no comment)

Anybody else?

    The "other" KSU
In reality, I'm betting Kietz just got played.

To what end?  What possibly could be gained?

What is ever gained from anything KK says/does? "The next segment is brought to us by Smoke and Fire - now, here is the owner of Smoke and Fire, LETS TALK BBQing with the Smoke and Fire owner!"

KK is a pud.

Not to mention that C-Harp came here almost all because of Snyd's & that was a big deal for B-Smith too. He'll be head coach throughout their college eligibility.

Snyder had nothing to do with Prince except for making Wefald happy by meeting with him for 15 minutes over a cup of coffee.

I'm not kidding you….people think that Bill purposefully went on KK's show and said what he said to draw attention away from the players.  Seriously.  I checked and it's not opposite day. People think this and are serious about.

Correct.  But, I think what they mean is that it worked out so well last time our AD didn't make the decision.

what if you checked and it was actually opposite day? you'd technically have to say that it wasn't as well. quite the conundrum we find ourselves in. you say it's not opposite day but how can i really believe you?

also, d miller is just keeping the co-o-co position warm for snyds so that when the season is over, we can hire gpat, gmil will retire and snyds will just coach offense. totally going to happen. totally.

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
Snyds is bipolar. After he retires, he misses coaching. After he goes back to coaching, he misses his family. If he does both, ksu football  :flush: :flush:

I want him committed or get the frack outta there.

We've got one of his kids on payroll now; why don't we just add the Mrs. and whoever else Bill misses so much?

We named it Bill Snyder Family Stadium at his request; should we get the whole family?

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Am listening to complete interview, and Snyder is totally non-commital as to a retirement date.  He wants to get the program on "solid footing", and states he knows what the criteria will be, but it's not a checklist.  He won't retire after this year--KK said earlier in the day that Snyder could retire in "3 weeks".  It was a very routine interview that KK is using as a stunt.  Lots of discussion of the team and players, and Snyder reaffirmed his commitment to developing an O-line as the foundation of the offense

It's known the flu has been going through the team. Why hasn't anyone stated the obvious? Snyder has the freaking flu.

This has equated to Kevin "Best in the Business" Kietzman wondering aloud if he'll re-retire "in 3 weeks."

You're welcome, folks.

Keitzman is some kind of genius.  He and Whitlock get together and smoke the very richest of cigars each and every evening discussing their complete ownership of the Kansas State fanbase and the KC media.

Said "I don't want to do this until I die."

Enjoyed his time with his kids and grandkids and hopes it won't be long until he gets to do that again.

Claimed he doesn't give a crap about winning.  He just wants to get the program to a point where the transition will be smooth.

Very odd.  Not positive.

Calming the waters does not equal bringing in a whole new staff, have former Kansas HS players transfer from other schools, then coach one season and leave, I'm sorry. I don't think Snyder would ever do that even if he wanted to. Stability and continuity are likely components to the calming the waters comment. The last thing this program needs is a third coaching change in five years. What it does need is an experienced coaching staff who knows what the hell they are doing at this level, win some games, bring in some BCS level talent and we are starting to see all of that happen. It's not the time for another coaching change.

Listening to the interview.....the 3 week and retire stuff is a joke.  This sounded very standard Snyder chat.  Wider picture than just winning...he is focused on putting KSU on the path to greatness long after he is   :cyclist:  gone.
