Beating uk is not as important as beating MU. stick with me here

uk still has one more loss for sure in Austin which makes them 4-4 at best
MU could potentially win out and end up at 5-3 with the tiebreaker over us
NUbb controls their own destiny to end up 5-3 (assuming they lose to OU) and have a tiebreaker over us

Since everyone is calling for 5-3 to win the north, the only sure way for us to go to dallas is to beat MU and nubb to get to 5-3 because ku is at best 4-4

But if we beat ku, MU, and Nubb we won't have to worry about any of this.

i was working under the "first to 5 wins rule". But i guess we could be the first to five wins, as well as the first to six ;)

But ku will beat NU.  NU cannot score more than 21 points even over ku.  We could use the tie breaker over ku too.

I still want my cooler, bitches!

    Hey, basketball!!!
One game at a time guys. And it's not like that is an impossible task, there are only three games left. Do we what we need to do to defeat them (or at least 2/3 of them) and we win the North...

I agree that if ku beats us our hopes aren't dashed...

but can this team rebound to win at home after losing at home the previous week. MU is gaining steam. Gabbert's ankle is healing. dammit.

MU scares me too.

I agree with the opinion that ku will beat nubb, but i don't want to have to depend on that... if we beat MU and NU we automatically clinch no matter what happens this week in MHK

If we take it one game at a time, everything will fall into place.  Looking/thinking ahead will just get you in trouble.

So lets hear your more logical situation of how we get to 5 wins and for sure win the division. I didn't say that I don't want to win this one, i just said logically its not as important as MU or nubb
