Anyone read the article where Mangino take sole credit for the defense improving.  His quote was he spent 95% of recent practices with defense personally and that's why they improved.  Now he plans on moving his magic touch over to the offense.

Kansas State just won its last game of the season. Yes, I said it and I meant it. The Wildcats finish 5-7. I’m not trying to be offensive. I’m not trying to disrespect what Bill Snyder is doing with Ron Prince’s leftovers. It’s just a fact. The Cats are done.

It’s going to come down to Kansas and Missouri. All it’s going to take is a 4-4 record.

I’m picking the Jayhawks. They’ll get to 4-4 with victories over Kansas State, Nebraska and Mizzou. They’ll lose to Texas and Texas Tech. And they’ll look bad in those losses. That’s fine.

A week ago, I thought for sure the Jayhawks would win the North. I never considered the possibility that Mangino would rock the foundation of his team by toying with Reesing’s swagger.

I’m not changing my prediction. I’m simply admitting that the North is too chaotic for me to predict anything with confidence or credibility.

I have no clue what’s going to happen in Manhattan on Saturday morning. I watched the last three quarters of the K-State-Oklahoma game with my mouth wide open, marveling at Bill Snyder’s genius.

just amusing how he has to start back tracking one week after making stern predictions about ku winning the North and KSU being done. His sole purpose is to stir the pot, I get it, but he has no background or expertise to write accurate sports analysis or make credible predictions or assumptions. As long he and his readers know that I guess it's all good fun. the beeps were a very large truck in reverse with Whitlock inside.
