Smooth as a baby's butt.  I'm weak, I know.  Broke down and shaved this morning.  crap was itchy as hell, I was breaking out along my neckline, and it just looked hideous/silly overall.  Plus, my boss said I looked stupid with a beard and strongly recommended I shave if I enjoyed being employed.   If I was a stronger willed man, I would have told her to frack herself, been content with the fact that I already had a nice headstart on my homeless beard, and began making plans to live out of my car.

I'm right in that "carson daly shadow" stage - right before I have to start grooming it.  I must say I look very attractive.

lots of dark growth, few grays.  still feels like whiskers and not hair.  cannot wait to bridge from whisker to hair.  cannot.
this is the longest any facial hair has ever been, on my face.  i believe i've passed the itchy stage.

going decently here. been about a little over a week. this is usually when i shave it. dunno. may just let 'er go. the hair around my mouth (goatee area?) grows faster and thicker then everwhere else. wish it didn't.

yeah, this is the worst area of beard growing.  It requires constant (like every 3 days) attention to keep me from going crazy.

it isn't easy.  eventually you'll make a trimming mistake and have to abort.
