Now that it's time to move on to the Hawks, does anyone have any insight or thoughts on why Reesing got benched in the 4th quarter yesterday? They were only down 2 scores with plenty of time left in the game. Then when they bring in the new kid, they just start running QB draws. I read some stuff where Reesing claimed to have a nagging groin injury so perhaps they'd decided to stop throwing the ball and brought the Frosh in to run the clock out...idk. Perhaps it was just Mangino announcing he'd given up on the game and wanted to make Snyd's game plan for 2 QBs. Maybe he just wanted to motivate Sparkes?
