ku fan I know said that OU looked beatable last week in Lawrence, which has to be in some part pretension by that fan base, BUT, he said that flu was sweeping the football team, and players were lethargic.  He thought a healthy team, because OU's play was just above marginal, could have made it a much closer contest if not a win.  The ku fan I know is not a fanatic or denier (most of the time), but wonder about the observation that OU is not invincible.

Sounds like your friend was one of the 35,000 mass exodus to the parking lot at halftime that failed to return for the 3rd and 4th quarter.  OU scored with ease in the second half and the defense didn't let up.

That being said, ku doesn't have  :steadymobbin': and has been a train wreck all year.

I think every team has some guys with the flu about now it's just going around like crazy.  You get a group of 100 guys and a certain number of them are going to have it.  Injury wise OU was beat to crap and ku has been pretty fortunate with injuries this year so far.   OU is beatable they  have 3 losses but they're not beatable by ku or KSU for that matter.

Your friend sounds like he's in denial to me.  I think it is just in the blood of ku fans.  I hear daily how they lost to CU because of turnovers and then I looked at the box score and saw ku was plus 1 in turnovers against CU.  I guess by blaming the loss on turnovers ku fans are saying they needed to be plus 2 or 3 to beat CU.

    The "other" KSU
we basically have to have a repeat performance of the 2003 CCG - that is, no turnovers and force their Defense to overpersue. We kinda need an ISU/NU 2009 game. FWIW, Sparkles made bad decisions and OU's D owned uk. That interception which was ran back 85 yds was perhaps one of the worst passes I've seen this year, OU dude sat there and just jumped the rout easily.
