Word is that Daniel Thomas has a banged up shoulder.

Will Coach Snyder hesitate to move Lamark to running back?

Good question Kellis.

I am kinda nervous about this as well.  Would be good to see someone other than Keithen Freaking Valentine as a backup to Thomas.

DT is a baller, I think his arm would have to have fallen off for him to sit out.

If Brandon Harold was our RB, then I'd be concerned.  He's apparently majoring in FP with a minor in TC.

Keithen, if given the same carries as DT, would be averaging about 3 yards per carry AND we'd probably have to throw the ball more. It would be a disaster, but if DT does have to sit at all I doubt Snyder moves Lamark to RB. Any word on the type of injury - bruised? structural damage?

I heard it was one of those injuries that's going to nag him a long time.  I would expect it to be an issue the rest of the season though hopefully it's not.  I am 100% behind sitting him this game.

Sounds semi-serious, I guess we'll have to rest him this week...and GG, and Lemark, Banks, The entire D-line, the O-line, Lamur.

Yes.  But, obvioulsy you have doubts.  So let's hear 'em.  Instead of talking sh*t, spell it out for us.  Why are ku, MU, and NU superior, this year?  Team by team, why are they stronger than us?  Explain why you expect us to lose each game.

I'm all ears.

curious - when did the alleged injury take place? He has looked pretty damned good this year and as we all know - guys play injured all the time.

Pretty sure he's been playing hurt most of the season. A true testament to his beastliness. I bet a cortisone shot will do wonders.

That said, I can not believe the Keithen hate. What's up with that?

Mostly because he's just not that good.

Although he has proven to be a serviceable back this year, which exceeds my expectations.  But we need much more than a "serviceable" back given the rest of our offense.  :-[

We shouldn't expect to win another game period TBH.

Our fans are amazing at going from "OMG, we suck" to "THIS TEAM JUST DOESN'T LOSE AT NIGHT"

I've heard he's a little sore, but nothing that's going to keep him out of action.

And for those of you who think KV is good (or has had a great year), you're an idiot.

I don't know, that's why I was asking.  Why would we expect to win any of our remaining games?  Because ISU beat NU 9-7 and CU beat ku?

Really?

Um, not saying Keithen should start or anything, and I don't think anyone is.

But, for a #2 back, I don't see what is "not good" about an average of 7.5 yards per carry and zero fumbles. It's quite possible that I'm an idiot though, so please feel free to clear that up for me. Until that's clarified, I contend that the dude is a good change of pace and has been making some pretty good cuts.

He wouldn't start for any team in the Big 12 though, barring injury (luckily that includes us since it didn't last season)

He's probably the worst backup running back we have had under Snyder since 1992.

I'd like to see Childs get some carries. I think he runs hard. He and Valentine could make a good 1-2 punch if Daniel can't go.

Agreed. I actually don't think he is that bad. He's certainly not great, but he is better than what people on here think imo.
