#1. kansas state is the worst team in the big 12 conference and should not be favored over anyone in the league.

#2. yea iowa state is 3-5. yes they are 0-3 on the road. yes they are playing like crap. but lets look deeper. there three road losses were at iowa (revenge game for iowa with tate healthy and they still almost one), at texas, and at oklahoma.

#3. every &@#%ing year iowa states record is mediocre or not very good this time of year and everyone starts talking about firing coach dan mccarney. and you know what happens every year right about this time?? they circle the &@#%ing wagons, go on a huge run to finish the year and end up missing a field goal in the finale game of the year to cost them a trip to the big 12 title game and savings mccarney job. it will be no different with this team this year. this team has talent they have just struggled with expectations as alot of people had them predicted to finish in the top 2 in the league this year. they are loaded at the skill positions with stevie hicks, meyer, and todd blythe. they also have 10 returning starters. iowa state is best in this role when noone expects them to win and all the pressure is off. thats when they sneak up and &@#%ing bite you.

#4. iowa states weakness on defense is their pass defense. well guess what people. kansas state with their new coach has switched to a passing offense and inserted tons of freshman into the starting lineup. most notably, true freshman quarterback, josh freeman. you would think that would be bad for iowa state right? I DONT THINK SO! Kansas States passing offense is HORRIFIC. freeman went a horrific 5 of 19 last week for 63 yards at missouri and on the year josh freeman is HITTING 40% OF HIS PASSES WITH NO TOUCHDOWNS AND 8 INTERCEPTIONS!!!!!

#5 everyone thinks iowa state had a terrible loss to a mediocre texas tech team last week at home. well they did but there is more than meets the eye wit hthat 42-26 final. first of all the score was 28-26 tech late into the 3rd quarter. and also as i mentioned above iowa states weakness is their pass defense and it was exploited by the great passing team that is texas tech. furthermore this texas tech team was very hungry for this game coming off two straight embarrasing losses and leach really had his team focused. dont let that loss worry you guys.

#6.  Kansas State has only one league game this year and that is their only win since starting the year 3-0.  here is the thing with that game.  yes they did beat okie state at home.  but it was a total fluke. they were down 10 points with 3 minutes to play and had a sick comeback while okie state was scrambling not knowing what to do as they have a young team thats really never closed a road league game out before.

HAMMER IOWA STATE!!!!!!

That's hilarious.

I know the guy personally that wrote that, and I know for a fact that he's already got $2K riding on ISU +6.

Shouldn't we all have $2,000 riding on ISU?

I only wish I knew...

I've bet on FIVE K-State games this year, and am 0-5 on those picks.

Played on K-State plus the points vs Louisville, Nebraska and Baylor and gave points to FAU and Oklahoma State.

This KSU team has me baffled like no other.

Only if you can't afford to bet more.   :D

i've bet on every ksu game and i'm 2-5.  they really are a mystery ATS.  this line probably should be more like KSU  -3.5, but i still dont think ISU +6 is enough to lay $2k  on it.
