The difference between us and ku is that we give a defense more looks . . . ku always has sparkles back in the gun, no I formation to speak of, frankly it was just a crap gameplan by ku against ou, just like it usually always is everytime Mangino faces a team with superior athletes across the board . . .  I see OB rolling back the clock and even running a few veer look plays on the Sooners.

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
The sad thing is that Lamark is very capable of that kind of performance.  The flip side is that his is also likely to not do jack.  If we could figure out how to utilize him in the parallel way that we do the D. Train.  Our offense would be another level of improved.

Hook and Ladder -- Gregory to Lamark to DT.
Double Reverse -- Gregory to Lamark to DT.
Fumble Recovery -- Gregory mishandles snap, Lamark boots it, DT falls on it.

Say Lateral with your mouthpiece in.

It's called "Hook and Lateral".

    shame on you, non-believers
I don't think Snyds will pull out "tricks" against OU at all. He knows we're going to get our asses handed to us. He'll save his special plays for ku/MU/NU.

You really think that Snyder has already marked this one as a loss?

Yes. Because OB isn't retarded.

Expect quick hits to the TE, Middle Screens, and misdirection.  Also, PA deep balls(to Lamark not BB).

dont know if the O-line can give GG time to PA and bomb to lamark or BB

If we can bootleg a rollout to the deep man's side, it can happen.  OU however has DE's that are great at keeping the QB in the pocket.  Still, I think we have to stretch the field once in a while to have a chance.  Most likely in 2nd and short situations(if we can get them.)

I woudln't count out a pass from DT if it his non throwing shoulder that is injured.

Anyone take note of this? It's no secret; the secret to beating OU is screen passes. You've gotta think sn'yd's has laid off the screen passes lately just to screw with venzy.

How did screens and shovel passes work for ku?

No, the secret to beating OU's offense is throwing to guys in the middle of the field when Ryan Reynolds (middle linebacker) is in the game.  That has been the weakness for the past couple of years.

Remember the 03 OU team the "Best in the History of NCAA" per the talking heads of the media? Yeah, pretty sure OBz SCHOOLED that defense by using their speed to their disadvantage. This yrs defense is pretty fast too, watch out for the overpersuing.

Last I checked, the OU players on the 2003 team graduated and Sproles is in the NFL.

I actually agree with the Sooner here. Comparing this team to the 2003 team is an insult to our good teams of the past.
