I am worried that our team is going to overlook the 3rd (or is it 4th?) place team in the South this week.  We all know we have a big game the next week that could decide the North.  This is a classic "trap" kind of game that could cost us a big time bowl if we don't come out focused.  We all know the Cardiac Cats can come back with the best of them, but we don't want to give a team like OU a cushion to start the game.  OU's record is deceiving, they are not as mediocre as they appear.  They went toe-to-toe with a perennial Mountain West power BYU and a salty Miami team that barely lost to Clemson (who is usually a good team from the south if I remember correctly).

What I am saying is, while Big 12 championships are in our heads, we need to be careful this week.  OU is going to surprise some teams down the road, mark my words!

I'm worried too.  Too many people talking about Big 12 North Title and ku game.  As fans, we need to stay focused like the players.  One game at a time.  Snyder would be disappointed if he knew the fans were looking ahead to ku, etc..

In my honest opinion, the only way KSU can win the game is to be opportunistic on defense.

The OU defense is really tough.  I think it's the best of the Stoops era.  Not many offenses are scoring on us.  ku had 2 field goals (one of them 57 yards), and they were both given great field position by offensive problems.

KSU's best chance is to pick off a pass that was tipped by an inept OU wide receiver and to take it to the house.

LMAO.  Ever heard of a guy named Daniel mother frackin Thomas (literally his middle name)?  Easily the best RB the league has seen since that hack AP (much better than AP IMhO).

Not too worried about puttin up points vs. the sooner D.  Great job, you held a horrendous ku team in check. ku got smoked by CU, the worst team in the nation.

We'll see.  Please come back on Saturday night, and we'll discuss how "Daniel mother frackin Thomas" held up against the best defensive line in the nation.

You need to calm the frack down.  NO WAY a 4-3 Sooners squad comes close to the North leading Cats.   I know OU has had some good teams recently, but this is 2009.  Unbunch those panties.

i was at lunch today at one of kansas city's finest upscale eating establishments.  it takes months to get a table at this exclusive hot spot.  it was a business lunch and myself, along with a few other EMAW/K-State power brokers were chatting it up, drinking martinis, and doing business.  major business.  anyway, one of the guys at the table (ku fan) gets up and has diarrhea right there at the table.

poor sucker.  what a beaker huh?  anyways, he gets up and then goes back to the office, we didn't want him sitting around our table anymore.  then the manager comes over and says he'll send a guy over to clean it all up.  well, the guy he sent over comes to the table and guess what, he's wearing a OU starter jacket.  what a loser

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

LOL, I have seen that guy!  I was at same establishment with a few fellow young KSU alumni and a few older KSU alumni who also happen to be nationally recognized war heroes and the guy in the Sooner jacket was mopping up a huge spill in the marble entryway.  Turns out a ku fan had been delivering a tank of water for the water cooler and dropped it when he saw the gorgeous hostess (KSU junior home on break).

You are right, but you're offense hasn't scored more than 20 points against either of the two decent defenses that you have faced.  OU will need to score on defense or special teams to win.  And DeMarco Murray better be able to play.
Is your life so sad that KSU football isn't enough?

Heck yeah, we got our Farmageddon brother HC on speed-dial and he gave us his game plan from the 8 TO NU debacle.

This is the best defense of the Pelini era too....worked for the 'Clones

Don't forget the plan to have KR and Punt returns for TD's....we kept that part of Prince's binder....

It had been discussed on OU forums when KSU has an opening.  The word is he won't be hired at KSU because of that sin, but nobody seems to know what it is.

Hey, little-known fact time: Purcell, Oklahoma was named after a rich guy in Manhattan, Kansas.  Nice job trying to suck up there, you backwoods yahoos!  Too bad it won't help on Saturday.
