I mean, like, send sekona to smash jones a clear 10 seconds after the play. That's how we roll here, man. ala those classic early 2000 games.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Yes, where is that killer instinct?  I know that VK doesn't like to blitz but let's get some penalties on Saturday.

Amen. I remember reading a while back how the OU coaches always hated playing us because they knew how physical we played, and we would always leave them with a bunch of injuries.

That 2001 hit on Hybl by Houchin was classic. Had to have his teammates help him off the field. The 2003 game against Jason White wasn't bad either.

We need to do that to Reesing, too.

Was reading soonerfans.com and they hate snyder, crying about how dirty his teams are.

Def. agree.  Thing is they won't be chucking it all over the place with Jones.  This is gonna look like a game out of the early nineties.  Lots of running and defense, which gives us a fighting chance.

It would be nice to get some thumpings on Reesing.  Seems to get rattled when beaten around. OU actually pretty much showed us the blueprint on owning Reesing Saturday.  They blitzed at times but usually they just tried to keep him in the pocket.  Made real difficult to hit those passes to the sidelines, and he is too short to go down the middle without a sprint out or much space.

Good stuff.

Apparently you better do this early and often because Vegas thinks very little of your chances in Norman....SOONERS minus 26.

Your a moderator so its safe to assume you know the title of the thread your posting in right?  :D

Seriously I'm not a gambler but its obvious the line is based primarily on 3 things, 1. Game is in Norman 2. Our Defense is NASTY 3. K-States Talent is nowhere near where it was when Snyder left. Based on those 3 things and assuming we have our QB the whole game despite what this thread suggests I think the line is fairly close to where it will finish.

Rock On People.....

The title of the thread is sarcasm at its finest but it has a bit of history to it.  When we've destroyed QB's, we win the games.

IMO, no way K-State can win this game, not sure they can cover.  It's one thing to beat a bunch of four stars coached by Mike Sherman.  It's entirely different under stoops.  I'm under no illusion that we could just go to Norman and win.

That being said, your O-Line is in shambles and our D can easily penetrate and make plays.  The issue is can OU's O-Line do just enough to make a few plays, and i think yeah they could, but I also know that if we can score 2 maybe 3 times before you guys do, then it makes our D's job much easier.

That's a tall order against OU.

I think K-State covers, barely.

damned near on queue.

Seriously folks, these are some severly f*upped folks.  I remember the first Big XII championship game at Arrowhead.  Some KSU fan is standing in line for food at halftime.  Couple of Sooner fans start Boomer Sooner and he yells something clever like go cats or K-State and this dude turns around and absolutely clocked him.

I got my ass beaten in norman during the 2005 game. I want no part of that fanbase. I still cannot play catch with my son after that beatdown.  :frown:

LOL.. No, I never bet on K-State games.  I have too much personal bias that would end up putting me on the street.

Yeah?  When was the last time Snyder beat Stoops in Norman?  Oh, yeah, never!
