but had they played Rice and North Texas at home this year, they are like 7-1 right now.

instead of UCLA, play...Duke at home. That would a "W". but who knows.

We got out to such a slow start with this group it was tough to know if we can win anything in conference. We have a team that is pulling wins against teams is had the ability to beat. The next step is to pull W's from teams we shouldn't beat.

I agree but it is looking like those teams we're not suppossed to beat are not that good.  Perhaps no better then the teams we've already played.  As far as I can tell all of the North teams are pretty similar to one another.   They won't win it but Iowa State just may be the best team in the division they could easily be 4-0 right now.  

The thing I was thinking about today is what if Josh Freeman had stayed for his senior season?  We probably go 10-2 and walk away with the North.

I was thinking the same time as we ran the option and Gregory continued to miss receivers.  The KSU outcome would have been different this year, but would Freeman's draft be different?
