I expected the crowd to come in a little late this morning.  The way in for me (I-70 from Topeka) had light traffic early (got into Manhattan around 8:30), and for my dad on K-177 from the south with light traffic sad slow crowd into the lots.

However, 30 minutes before kickoff I was very pleased to see alums and fans pouring in to be in their seats for kickoff.  That is what impressed me.  So many into the Bill in such a short span (usually in early games fans trickle in and many miss the first 10 minutes or so of the 1st quarter).

The fans that made it were pretty fired up.

Later,

I WAS really glad to see the crowd came back for the second half and stayed for almost all of it.

No problem.....the views are great.  Not many people ever get to see the "Bill" from up there.   I wish I had a mini (hidden) camera... would get shots of the coaches boxes.  Don't think they'd appreciate it, though...hahahaha

Do you work in the pressbox or did you just get to visit?
I think that's Patrick Coyne there in the 1st picture wearing the all purple holding the cup up. Was wondering if he was still doing the statistics database.

Too bad there were only 43,000 of them. The students need to get to their asses to the game. There was a whole section that was empty.

Back in 06 and 07 we would go up to the 5th floor and watch the games by the cameras until we had to have a press pass. We still get access to all other areas but no longer the 5th floor.   :'(
